Here is a highly-experienced, hard-working comedian, with loads of Edinburgh credentials, and who has headlined all over the place. Landed the gags perfectly, as he always does. Predictably, some of the media have picked up on a couple of negative social media comments and blown them into an over-sized story, but who cares what they say? Good stuff!
@@AlexAndreKnudsen I have watched several disabled people on Got Talent, the most successful have been those people who aren’t afraid of of laughing at their own disability and some making their whole act a no pity zone, it’s absolutely refreshing and easier to laugh along them without feeling as though it’s bad to do so. I am sure it’s more uplifting for the act too.
This is why you should never judge a book by its cover. We do that way to much throughout our lives with mount noticing it by fault of our own: what we really miss out on is pure talent like him and others try to show us.

When BGT began it was about finding raw amateur talent. However given the fact of the level of deluded loonies who've appeared on the auditions since 2008, the producers - and Cowell - have had to resort in finding semi-pro's for the heats to boost and retain viewers. There's probably quite a number of good raw stand-ups in the UK who've lost a spot on tv to Birdman

Markus Birdman is a professional stand up with years of experience and shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and multiple TV appearances. Proof, if any were needed that BGT is absolutely fixed and genuine amateur talent don't stand a chance.
We thought Markus Birdman was absolutely BRILLIANT, so funny, great follow-on patter, excellent delivery, couldn't fault the guy at all. We wish him every success in the future. (ABRS-UK)
