- We returned back off our 3 months trip in Ireland in our self built campervan , and it was not long before we were under the van fixing problems that needed sorting out before we hit the road again, we also upgraded our charging system so we can charge our Ecoflow power banks on the road .
fECOFLOW @EcoFlowTech 800W alternator charger could be a potential game changer for off grid electrical set ups . The big issue for power stations in vehicles was the to recharge them quickly using the engine that has now been solved with the 800 W alternator charger for the EcoFlow Delta or potentially any power station with an XT60 connector. As well as the alternator are charging the power station, the starter battery could by the power station.

Neil I would tape that plastic key for the eccco flow connectors to the bottom or top of the unit itself. Great vlog, great tutorial. Good jobs done. Dogs are great by the way, we have 2 little ones they make everyday a good day.❤

Hi Neil. I got the bluetti Ac200 plus the expansion pack B230 powering my van. Very similar to the eco flow.
They also brought out an alternator charger which I was tempted to buy. However I’m just using the main AC charger using an inverter to power it. Been working fine. I manually turn the inverter on when needed..

No way, you’re in LSU! We have good friends who live in Baton Rouge, we stayed with them for 8 days in 2023, drove over to Dallas too and had a lovely time! Amazon have taken that feature off in the UK, can’t see the stops anymore … must have had too many complaints 😂😂

Just for your info the cable which ecoflow supply isn't rated for 125A even thought that's the fuse they give you, would recommend getting a 100A fuse for a couple of quid for peace of mind.

Not best pleased to say the least, we only found out about it through a comment on here, we did not speak to them we did not give permission for them to use our images etc, they need to go and do some real journalism instead!
I’ve just googled it and I totally agree. The Sun needs to do some proper journalism not just pinch images and take quotes from the videos and then create a story without them interviewing you first.

Yeah.....Im sure we do get quite a bit more rain than the UK....but that's why we have such great dairy.
Fitted mine to my VW-T6 about 2 months ago now, run it at 600w to be sure it doesn't give any issues, just received a 3x way switch to have the output from the Ecoflow go via the Van's 24v input cable or Onshore Power when on a site (Plus an Off Position) so any of these - Ecoflow/Onshore/Off.
I was lost at the opening of the box.😅😅

Question my van has 150amp alternator as standard so if i wanted to add this i assume i would need a 175amp or 200amp alternator to compensate for the extra draw ?
You could run it of your current alternator but all depends on how much drawer you are pulling off is at the moment which is quite easy to find out with a volt meter if you’re only pulling low amps off the alternator you have and I can’t see why it would be an issue running this maybe not at the full 800 W bus. You certainly get more charge than you would offer a cigarette port and you could like you say always upgrade your alternator later on
We bought the Alternator charger but stupidly did not check for the port. We have the delta mini. You would think Eco flow would have this for any of there power banks. So looks like might have to upgrade our power bank. The delta max seems the best at the moment 😎
Yeah it’s easy to get caught out not checking for the port but an upgrade could always be useful, who doesn’t like a bit more power, but also agree it would be a good option to have it for all three

Think we charged up all of his power banks for him while we where there to be fair 😂😂 as well as making good use of some of his tools 🛠️

Are you both still around Mersyside. I am after some knowledgable person to wire up my van to charge my batteries from van battery. Was put off doing it myself when people talk about amps and voltage and stuff. Got box of wiring to put 230 and 12 volt together, But no idea. I can wire lights etc myself , Just need the main stuff doing. Can you help. Ivor i pay you or an electrician, But you know those vans and electrics.

Yes, any mods that get done should be reported to insurance as they will use anything to get out of a pay out if the worst ever was to happen!!
