to have a better Idea, you can also weigh the original AK stock to compare and see how much weight the new stocks would add to the rifle (like you did to the Basis rails)
No overall firearm length restrictions in South Africa. Very interested in one of these stocks for my AKM, however, I do have the side rail adapter, will be interesting to see if the stock can fold with a optic rail on.
If I was to purchase the PT-1 Stock with the Fixed adapter, will I still be able to use my Side optic rail? The Pt-5 folding mechanism looks like it sticks out beyond the receiver.
Hello... i have a question, I recently installed a B-10m on my AK and the rail is slanted roughly 5 degrees up when compared to the barrel...Is this normal, and will it hamper the installation of future zenitco accessories.
I see two different versions of the PT-1, one with two rails for the cheek riser and the model shown in the video that has two. What's going on with that ?
I don't get it. So you can only put pt-1 with non-foldable adapter due to laws in Russia. But can you buy a foldable stock AK like vityaz and simply mount pt-1 which will still fold or can you buy just fixed stock AKs? So the pt-1 is just for export and not for use in Russia? Pt-1 without the adapter still can be folded, right?
Yes, we can buy foldable stock AK (for civilians - Saiga). But civilian models have a mechanism that blocks shooting with folded stock. And civilians with AK-based rifles with fixed stock can’t install folding stock, because their rifle has no mechanism that blocks a shot. So with a folding stock they will be able to shoot with stock folded which will mean the length of the rifle will be less than 80 cm. Which is restricted.
@@ZenitcoinEnglish I understand now. I wasn't aware there is such a mechanism blocking shooting with the stock folded. So if I had a fixed stock AKM and wanted the pt-1, I will need the adapter to mount it. However the adapter will block the folding feature, correct? Is there an adapter not blocking it or will I need to go with the pt-5? Edit: I watched the other video with Anastasia and I understand now. There won't be any adapter not blocking the folding feature because it would allow the people to bypass the law and have a folding stock in AKM which could be fired with the stock folded.
How is it not compatible with the side mount cuz to be honest it looks like you have quite a bit of room just curious because i have a Romanian wasr-10 v-2 that im trying to find a side folding stock for but it has the dovetail mount on the side and a fixed stock so id have to go with the pt5
PT-5 folds with fixation if the rifle has dovetail joint on side. But it does not fold with fixation if there is a side rail installed on the dovetail joint.
In terms of tone they are close. Desert coating is rough, golden khaki is smooth, so for moving items like buttstocks, khaki’s better. For reference, here’s a photo of Leader kits on 3 different colors next to each other: instagram.com/p/CXL2iUSMVkd/
@@ZenitcoinEnglish I just emailed Russian Thunder, and they informed me Zenitco stocks are on the “Forbidden Parts” list. Is it true Zenitco can’t import stocks outside of Russia anymore?
No, it does not fold right. And folding with optic is not provided as most Russian AKMs do not have side optic mount, they are used with B-33 dust cover.
I’m on my phone so I can’t tell but is that a decommissioned AK74? Like AK-12 СУ? I noticed the bolt carrier’s piston looks like the decommissioned AK-12 and it looks like the locking lugs may be milled out
Alright for starters great video. But I do have a question, i own a Saiga and im still unsure if I should get the PT1 or the PT5. Mine has that little safety tab thing however I dont have any kind of mechanism that prevents me from shooting it while folded so do I get the PT1 with the Saiga adapter or the PT5?
Depends on what Saiga you have. if it has a folding stock originally you get PT-1 (or PT-3 if you want a tube based stock). if it has non folding stock originally and you want it to be folding you take PT-5 (PT-1 does not give capability to fold)
Anyone maybe can help me ? I have a milled arsenal ak the arsenal SAR-MT2 and i wonder if the pt5 could fit if anyone knows i would really appriciate it :)
I’ve made 4 separate orders because I wasn’t sure what route I was going with the build. I received almost all of it in about a months time. I’m only waiting on one package now that’s going on two months. And it’s the important parts b30 and b33.
i wish we can still get the beautiful and highest quality Russian made rifles in the USA still but it seems we are catching up with some clones like Kalashnikov USA with the KR-103 which i believe will be very similar to a Russian AK-103
Hey Zenitco! American here! Have you guys ever thought about making optics like red dots and holographs? I would love to buy one if you guys ever make one! Cheers from America!
i cant believe this channel isnt more popular. Every AK guy should be subscribed. Keep up the good work zenitco
Thank you for making these videos and explaining the different options of AK gear from your company. Keep up the great work !!
anastasia and ak´s, it´s always a good combination!
a match made in heaven!
This channel is so rad - keep up the awesome vids, Zenitco!

These videos are so good! I'm very interested in using Zenitco furniture on my civilian AKM.
Better not have a budget, there shit is soooo solid but $$$$$$$
YESSS the anticipated PT-5 video!! Thank you Anastasia!
I just love how every rifle they work with is a machine gun lol Im jealous
Darn you, Hughes Amendment.
Yeah man it's state sponsored propaganda. You can't own one in Russia.
I can't wait to install this stock onto my 1987 Izhmash ak-74!
Love your products and video's. I named my kp9 that's decked out in all zenitco, Anastasia.

PT-5 will not fold with fixation with side rail on. This question can be solved if you use B-33 dust cover
This is such a great video. Answered all of the questions that I had!
is it still possible to buy these in the US? thank you in advance
Currently we do not ship to US, as far as we cannot accept payments from US
@@ZenitcoinEnglish Is that due to American Sanctions ?
@@Rich.Raptor Yes

You can use B-13 side optic rail together with PT-1.
Can you make this compatible with the tailhook mod 1 brace and the ability to attach via a picatinny adapter?
Please make an adaptor for under folding Ak so it can change to side folding with pt 1?!!!!!! Will you consider it please there is a huge market
Love the looks of those stocks.
I need some help which stock works with arsenal slr 104fr?
Hello... i have a question, I recently installed a B-10m on my AK and the rail is slanted roughly 5 degrees up when compared to the barrel...Is this normal, and will it hamper the installation of future zenitco accessories.
It won’t hamper. This can be considered as normal as unfortunately on AK the barrels are not always parallel to the receiver
Would PT-5 work on Arsenal SLR 107r, as it has akm style rear trunion, but I believe the tang only has 1 screw not 2 of them?
In theory yes. But we can not test in practice as far as they are not available in Russia.
I know the rpk receiver is thicker (1.5) but could the pt-5 be modified enough to fit a square back vepr?
We’ve made a beta version of such a stock. The tests will start soon.
I see two different versions of the PT-1, one with two rails for the cheek riser and the model shown in the video that has two. What's going on with that ?
Will this fit on a palmetto state armory AK?
Which psa ak you have
Will these work on Yugoslavia/Serbian Zastava m70 AKs?
Bring back the yellow jumpsuit! That was my favorite outfit of yours, it suits you so well!

Anastasia- just wondering if Zenitco makes the PT5 stock in the desert sand color
We don’t. But! We make it in golden khaki.

No. It is legal. We have official contracts with distributors outside of Russia, stocks are shipped under those contracts as well.
