Poor dude. He's doesn't have a single clue what he's doing. Might have been a good lesson for him to have been stuck out there for a while instead of getting rescued so early. It's not always going to be that easy and lucky.
Well good for him to get out there at least... most don’t bother even when they would want to but are afraid...this is how you learn and have an adventure !
People need to stop bashing the other chris, you live and you learn. Hes down2mob, hes adventuring we all start from somewhere. He atleast tries to go out and test his limits
Good call. He may be a citiot but he's learning and trying. I'm from the country and know people here that don't have the balls Chris has. I commend him for being there and trying.
I have been a Subaru man ever since I bought my Subaru 360 bubble car and my first 4x4 car was a 78 Subaru brat with just 4x4 and no low gear hauling a kit tear drop trailer into the wilds of Michigan for many wild camping trips with a 10 ft johnboat and a 2 horse outboard on the top of the Subaru, I sure did get stuck alot and had to use my highlift Jack and recovery gear to extract myself from dangerous situations, but I sure did have fun then came the Subaru station wagon with 4x4 with low gear and many more adventures and camping, them Subaru's took me many places, the new Subaru's don't have 4x4 low gears anymore and won't go as many places as I like, I sure miss the older 4x4 with low gear subies
Trailer Pulling 101 -- for multiple reasons you want to load trailer such that there's weight on the tongue, not like this guy with the back end of the trailer heavier than the front. The most important reason is handling, a rear loaded trailer will tend to wander and get into a dangerous side to side oscillation.
Once we took the trailer off his car, and the rear dropped like that because of the weight, he said "oh that must be why it's wobbling"...who knows what he had in there.
Nothing like knocking an 8 year airforce vet, who just got done serving and is working his way back to Michigan with all his 8 year accumulation of his personal items... Thank you for your services Chris and never mind this jackass's ignorant remarks.
Those tires on the Subie and pulling a trailer on that road, common man... he was lucky yall were there... people die doing that shit, get stuck and have no way out, then they either freeze waiting for help or trying to hike out. It's cool when you got the gear and know how to use it and know the risks like y'all but not if you don't, cuz then you are risking your life and the lives of the SAR teams if they are called too.
I would go out there in a heartbeat but not in a Ford Edge and I own one for city driving. The furthest off-road that can go is gravel and hard pack sand.
Daring is accurate, he follows down2mob and knew they were in the area.. Foolish because he was down2mob We've all down foolish things.. and your kidding yourself if you haven't.
He is lucky you guys were out there that day. I don't know what he was thinking when he decided to take an all wheel drive station wagon off road like that. The most "off road" driving I would do in that thing would be taking it down a maintained forest service road.
Besides all the normal don’ts for this guy he has way too much weight on the back of the trailer. Dangerous to pull a trailer with no weight pushing down on the hitch!
Dude needs to reload his trailer. So much weight in the back that he had trouble pulling down the tongue. Going to cause ral problems at highay speeds. Good of you guys to get him headed in the right direction.
I bet if you guys hadn't told him to turn back, he would have tried to press on....I hate it when he just keeps spinning his tires making it worse. Ford Edge AWD = The sales person at Carmax said I'd be invincible.
Can't say I haven't gotten myself in and out of worse situations than that in two wheel drives.
Poor dude. He's doesn't have a single clue what he's doing. Might have been a good lesson for him to have been stuck out there for a while instead of getting rescued so early. It's not always going to be that easy and lucky.
We couldn't figure out what he was doing out there
Well good for him to get out there at least... most don’t bother even when they would want to but are afraid...this is how you learn and have an adventure !

Come on people , a trailer with not enough tongue weight will fishtail on ya . That guy is clueless when it comes to towing.
Nice job guys....its good to see people that will help a strange like that....
Heroes! Takes a lot to stop for others to rescue them! Great job!
Chris’s Land Cruiser is SO bad ass man!! That thing would be a blast
This is what it is all about: learning (him) and helping each other (you guys). Solid work boys.
Thanks for still giving us stuff to stay entertained Phil!
I was impressed with your knowledge on that recovery and I’ll bet the other Chris learned some good information.
Man he was really lucky you guys came along
He is one lucky guy!!! If you had not come along he would have been in deep trouble!!
We all got to learn some how. That was a darn good lesson
Hi you two are real Angels for helping Chris out of a real bad place the MOB crew are EPIC,! JoP
That cruiser is so dope and well build!! I love it
Wood for the rescue! Nice work guys!
Land cruiser dude totally flexed on that poor guy. Lol
Jeffrey B happens a lot when you drive a Yota lol
lol, that dude makes us michiganders just look *bad* !...wtf is up with his f-ed up negatiive tongue weight?!?! what a maroon.
That landcruiser 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Excellent stuff!

I can't imagine how much junk was in that trailer to make the tongue that hard to put down. It would be a miracle if he made it home safely.
hopefully it wasn't always that ass heavy, maybe the load shifted when it was unhooked leaning back.
Nothing like knocking an 8 year airforce vet, who just got done serving and is working his way back to Michigan with all his 8 year accumulation of his personal items... Thank you for your services Chris and never mind this jackass's ignorant remarks.
You guys are all right!
All terrain tires , four wheel drive , winch , little bit lift , down2mob
Ohh yeah
Those tires on the Subie and pulling a trailer on that road, common man... he was lucky yall were there... people die doing that shit, get stuck and have no way out, then they either freeze waiting for help or trying to hike out. That’s a Ford Edge not a subie
Down to mob recovery in full effect
Sick Ford bruh.....😂. At least put some BFG’s on her. Haha!!! Great recovery boys!
Good job guys
RUdwn2mob ~peace~ what the heck was that boy thinkin ?
He got some guts mobbing with that, or at least attempting to !
Baja Design hoodie. Nice. And I had to laugh at the yuppie-mobile with a full roof rack, towing a overland-ish trailer.
That yuppie mobile at least was out there doing it!
You guys did great! Very cool of you. Down to mob... with his vehicle? 🤔. I give him kudos though!
I always get stuck in my driveway. Note to self: Get stuck around prettier scenery.
WINTER TIRES OMG GET WINTER TIRES IF YOUR GOING TO DRIVE IN SNOW
I would go out there in a heartbeat but not in a Ford Edge and I own one for city driving. The furthest off-road that can go is gravel and hard pack sand.
Sick land cruiser 👌
"Daring" you are too kind.....foolish would have been more accurate.
Daring is accurate, he follows down2mob and knew they were in the area.. Foolish because he was down2mob We've all down foolish things.. and your kidding yourself if you haven't.

He needs to slap some K02's on that Edge, that or ProComp's A/Ts. Down2Mop 24/7 in the CJ5 or Ram
So many times, it seems like if you could just get pulled 20 feet, the trouble would be solved...
Makes me want a Warn winch.
We own a Ford Edge it's a nice Street Utility Vehicle I would never take it in conditions like that, that's what my Ranger is for
down to mob, yup
Why didn’t you guys hook the trailer up to the 4Runner and just pull it to hard ground?
Also that was some soft ass snow!
Besides all the normal don’ts
for this guy he has way too much weight on the back of the trailer. Dangerous to pull a trailer with no weight pushing down on the hitch!
That guy was really lucky that you guys were around. Otherwise, he would have been there a while.
Dude needs to reload his trailer. So much weight in the back that he had trouble pulling down the tongue. Going to cause ral problems at highay speeds. Good of you guys to get him headed in the right direction.
tongue weight should be around 10% of trailer weight.
What does mob mean ?
The tires that guy has on that blue SUV; he was going to get stuck no matter what he did. Yikes.
Your friend trying to snatch shit w that rope
oh men that blue car need good tire
Haha hankook outsides don’t like being outside lol
Sorry that happened next time just be careful..I know we can't help nature
What in THE hell?
I bet if you guys hadn't told him to turn back, he would have tried to press on....I hate it when he just keeps spinning his tires making it worse. Ford Edge AWD = The sales person at Carmax said I'd be invincible.
CITYIT
Street tires on an edge.....and he thinks he can go anywhere. Ha ha ha ha ha ha
Trade that ford in for a wrangler or 4Runner
Looks like you're stuck....check out my rig setup. 🤣
First problem is its a ford 😂😂😂 second its all wheel drive not even a 4x4 what was he thinking lol..
First problem is the tires. Second its a ford😂
People who drive cross over vehicles annoy me
