- Here's a quick tour video of a Federal Signal Model 2 siren near the Lower Falls along the Genesee River in Rochester, NY. This siren is used as a flood warning siren in case of high waters rising on the river below the lower falls. I knew that there was a siren here, but was not aware of any testing times. I heard on the local news Monday that RG&E who owns the siren would be conducting a test at 9am on Tuesday March 5th 2024. So I decided to go record it. Well unfortunately it never went off at the time it was supposed to! I stuck around for a couple of hours and got nothing! Then I saw later in the day on the news that apparently they did set it off after noon! Oh well! Hopefully I can catch it next time! Enjoy the view of the lower falls at the end of the video! And feel free to comment, like, and subscribe for more!

Thats a really cool install!
Yeah it is! I think this possibly replaced an ACA Banshee!
@@WNYSirenGuyYeah it probably did, because banshees are like the most common type of aca siren here in ny, besides p-10s
@@WNYSirenGuyI wish aca still made sirens, they’re probably my favorite siren company
Wow! I never knew this Model 2 was there. I can't see it on Street View
Yeah you can't see it from the bridge above, but it's really there!
