Every time I watch one of your videos I learn something new. Always thought a sway bar would hurt more than help, way to show what these rigs are capeable of
I get so confused when looking for parts on Amazon or Ebay for the 1.9 wraith, everytime it pulls up old wraith stuff no matter how you type it in lol. I ordered steel steering links for a scx10ii which I'm pretty sure are the same as the wraith 1.9 I hope.
my wraith has been nothing but bad luck for me. 1st run broke the stock servo 2nd run broke the chub from a tiny fall so switched out to ar44v1's 3rd run broke a dog bone. was the first part that was my fault that broke because revolver life lol. 4th run finally nothing broke after putting in over $200 into it for required upgrades. spent $120 for a mamba micro x extreme and a revolver 1800kv. surprisingly with a crap ton expo it can crawl super slow. also switched out the 13t pinon to a 12t because the motor was getting a little to warm for my liking.
Don't worry I didn't see you pull that stick out !! I run the same tires on my voodoo KLR Silver compound my go to tire . I would like a better steering servo. Appreciate you sharing I watch for more .
Can you please show me how you mounted the Currie antirock? I have one on order and was looking at possible mounting spots, this is my first crawler so I’m learning as I go.
Need lots of help. Brand new to this and my 7 year old son just got a wraith 2.2. First night broke drive line so we now have steel ones in. Next night broke servo. Replace that with recommendation from a shop near our house that does not know crawlers or bashers. Next day the new servo went out. Put new tires and rims on and servo horn. What can I do to make this truck more reliable as I have been to a bad shop 4 days straight. What servo do I need and I hear I need a BEC? Also I will probably do each and motor later. We are running 2s batteries correctly. Any help would be awesome. Thanks and great video
Sometimes is more fun having changeling rig them one that's more capable....keep up the great videos... one thing I have been waiting to see the motor dynamo testing a motor or two ....
Compliment, and a question. i recently installed the trailmaster 12t sealed can into my new wraith. I love it! I'm turning this rig into a budget U4, and the trailmaster w/ the stock 13t pinion makes a perfect trainer for endurance, topping out at ~8mph on 2s. I do eventually want to ungrade to a brushless, so here's my question: Using a 12-tooth pinion & 4.19" tires, what would the best ballpark kV range be for topping out at around 15mph? 3s and an appropriate Holmes esc will be applied. Hackneyed question at this point, i'm sure... Appreciate the input. Cheers!
I have just ordered this itl be here tomorrow mon do you have any links to getting the steering link and bottom link upgrade can’t find any for sale in the uk
Man I was really hoping to see the Magnum perform in this video. But I understand how hard it would be to try something different with such great motors at your disposal.
Anyway you could post a link for the Currie Anti-Rock sway bar kit you used? After a short search, the only Vanquish sway bar kit I found was for the Yeti. Thanks! Loving the videos!
Do you think you'll ever make a 550-can Torque Master Magnum? I could really use an EXTREMELY torquay BIG motor that isn't a Revolver. I need it for my 35 pound Mammoth. I have a 1000kv Revolver(among 10+ Revolver's and PP's)others but wanted something quieter for the trail. (Tommad on facebook)
I am looking into purchasing the sw4 and revolver 1800 combo from your axe review video. In that video, are the settings on the sw4 esc your custom settings or stock sw4 settings?
I am new the the hobby. The Wraith spawn is my first. I'd love to know what you all think about that one. I like it a Lot. I am looking at a couple others but im torn whether i should buy a new one or just spend the money on upgrades for my wraith spawn. Any advice you could give would be awesome. Thanks for the videos.
I have quite a few 2.2 wraiths. I would recommend trying a 1.9 rig to test your driving. TRX4, SCX10ii, or Element Enduro would be nice choices. Enduro isn't released yet, but will be shortly.
Check out the “Wraith 1.9 Link Tweaker” on Rccrawler.com, manufactured by Eyeball Engineering (Duuuuuuuude). It’s essentially a set of rails that provides additional mounting points for the upper links, to combat torque twist. I’m liking mine, for the most part, but would like to put my own body on it, in the near future, and save the stock orange wrap until fall/Halloween time. I’m thinking a glow-in-the-dark driver head would be cool for that. 👻
I really like his videos showing what his motors do with stock the upgrade electronics and gears.
Thank you for explaining to people how to not burn servos up!!! Nobody ever seems to know!

In this case it really helped. Didn't have any issues climbing the same sections as before, it was more stable.
Mine is nearly unstoppable with a 2s LiPo. And stock motor. This is my first rig. I also use the max speed limiter A LOT.
Love my Wraith. It’s still one of my favorite rigs to drag out on the trail. I did have to design a plate for shorter batteries though.

It already has the mounting spot on the frame in the back, that's what those random brackets that dont connect to anything are.
Pancouver venguins thanks I mounted it, was more asking about the lower mounting point, I just got longer screws and it shares a spot with my shocks
great video brother! i enjoy watching these, pretty relaxing! keep up the good work and thank you for what you bring to rc!

its in editing
Its Definitely a good-looking rig. And looks to be a good platform to make it into a very capable rock crawler
you are the bob ross of rc lol! way you speak reminds me of him haha
Awesome brother like Always 🤙👍

3500 puller pro and mamba X. Gear your speed to suit and still retain plenty of torque and low speed control.
Much obliged!

Hi good dayn man , i have a wraith same as you have . I am curious on how to install that sway bar . Do you have a video in it?? Thank you

You are in luck, I broke down and did it. Vid coming soon.
Great episode John!

The yeti kit is what I used, pretty sure.
HolmesHobbies Thank You!
Maybe some of the new to the market portal axle upgrades would be cool to see on the rocks.
Gat a 1.9 wraith coming this week!

you gotta get a better radio the stock one is no good. I upgraded to a FS-GT5. once I put that on my wraith the slow crawl is way better.

custom settings, as outlined in my programming tutorial

Hey what are some servos that will fit without hitting the panhard? Just need some budget options
I'm not familiar with budget options right now, sorry
Did you say the brushless BRXL is your favorite brushed ESC? Not your actual brushed ESC?
my brushed ESC. maybe I jumbled my words up.
Good Times:)
Is it the Yeti sway bar that you installed?
I’d like a how to on the install on that please
You still use this wraith?
So what would be the noticeable difference with a Magnum instead?
drag brake, torque, feels more solid on delivery

John , Why expo not throttle curves?
an expo throttle curve on the ESC is what I meant
What is the sway bar u are using
VP rock jock if I recall correctly
Is the magnum a 540 only Thanks
at this time, yes
