Very busy fishing a great video. What made me think Jon, I'm 73 and got covid not long ago and not a good walker so just standing was difficult . Hey you are a young man and have suffered bad I realise how lucky I was , breathing not to bad so quick recovery. Let's hope covid leaves you completely soon .

Well done Jon.. another great video... shame u got covid.. I had it with no injections. And I had no energy for a month and everytime I got out of bed I had vertigo and felt sick so I know how ya feel .. u done well to get out fishing..

Hi John, I’ve literally just gone through the exact same thing, first time covid etc, and it really kicked my arse and I’m a fair bit older than you and up until two years ago was a smoker all my life, luckily it seemed to attack my throat and head more than my lungs which I was very grateful for. Loved the new music too lol. Hoping to get my first match back since covid this week, so know what you’re going through hope ya feel better soon bud
Appreciate that GG, yes it's been frightening and shocked me a bit, but I seem to suddenly be improving a lot now and feeling much more positive at the moment. Hope you are doing OK.

Blooming heck Jon, can hear how much that covid took it out of you. I was lucky in a sense that when I eventually caught it it was pretty mild (I won't go in to how bad the jab made me instead 🙄)

Glad its just cold symptoms. Wouldn't wish what I had on anyone... but Im doing much much better at the mo with just a lingering cough and having to take everything steady. Glad you liked my fish and section netting!

Great result John. I bet you couldn’t wait to get back on the bank. I had my arm knocked off my hand a few years ago (yes, you read that right) and after five months in plaster then another six in a frame, I know how frustrating it can be to be stuck in the house. God help us all when you are fully fit again 🤣

@@JonArthur, I was fortunate to be treated by a phenomenal hand surgeon so after effects are minimal. I was not allowed to go back to work due to being signed off so did some local matches just fishing the tip. I had some results under the pseudonym of Samantha and a good friend of mine who had no idea of what was going on became obsessed with meeting her 🤣

Thought meat was going to work there jon I fished Thursday at a local venue. Had a couple of fish early on meat so gave me the confidence to keep trying. Had to use maggot around midday but after 2pm they when mad for the meat. Couldn't get a bite on pellets and it slowed my swim down feeding them in which I thought was strange. Thanks for video and don't over do it.

Thanks Tony, I've really took my time getting right and it's paying off as the last few days I've been really good, just a cough and no brain fog, so I'm positive mood and will still take it easy but feel I'm well on the mend now. Phew!

Thanks Wayne, yes its really took me by surprise. Coughing is nowhere near as bad now other than mornings getting to peg and setting up, but energy levels are so low and I really crash out once home. Its scary stuff now I know what others have been through.
@@JonArthur I'm glad your getting better m8 and Im the same I do all my dad's kit for him to n form the peg set him up an all sorts so he can get a DIY on the bank so I have to do it all twice now days so I know how you feel it's shattering!! Nice to see your back fishing Jon. Don't overdo it, covid hangs on like an octopus in a wet room. Keep up the great work, but slowly. I notice the catch rate seemed to be better once the pole shadow was off the water. It may just be it was later in the day.

I try and pin my nets each side so there is a gap for pot filling
