- In May of 2024, Kansas City resident Zak Nenno was arrested after trying to pay a bill at the historic Truman Courthouse in Independence, Missouri.
Notice he threw him on the floor on his face while his hands were handcuffed behind his back. Get a good civil rights lawyer and clean them out.
Did you also notice that the TV station edited the video right when he was being cuffed and taken to the ground? Most likely showing when he DID resist but that wouldn't fit this guys Cop-Hater agenda.

The employee needs to be held accountable, not just the officers.
But we only have one side of the story. Why didn't the reporters show us the body cam footage or the videos from inside the building? Why didn't the reporter interview the worker of witnesses? People don't get asked to leave for paying their bills and police don't arrest people for paying their bills so there is obviously MORE than we are being told. Shame on the reporter for releasing this without both sides of the story.
Shame on the police for making the arrest and on the apologists for government officials facilitating bad behavior. No ID was ever required, so no ID should have been requested. Whatever the government employee said that engaged the sheriff's deputies was unwarranted. The sheriff's dropping the guy on his face was unwarranted, too. Seems like dirty behavior by government workers ...
@@Thunderbyrd.People are unlawfully detained, arrested and jailed every day. The public employees paid by the man's property taxes decided he was their property and could abuse him as such. They will delete the body cam footage if it even exists. They did not count on the news reporting the abuse of his rights because they're used to getting away with it. That's why he was thrown to the ground while handcuffed. They have no fear of repercussions. The authority will not comment on pending investigations unless it is in their interest to "clear the air" (they can demonstrate proper conduct was followed). Once they know they are at fault, they will clam up and find charges or "in accordance with use of force procedure" to invoke qualified immunity and pass the possible litigation bill to the tax payers ( the ones they themselves continue to own without repercussions).
@@Thunderbyrd.The video the news showed is from inside the building, the police arrest people for non-crimes every single day.
@@Thunderbyrd. Maybe the cops should petition to change the laws in kansas and allow us to obtain body cam footage, not our fault we only saw what was released.

If your taxes are past due beyond certain lengths of time and in collections, then other people can pay the taxes and put leins on the property until they are repaid with interest. It's called tax notes (essentially a lein) and there are many online gurus showing ppl how to do it. If someone else is paying the taxes then they need to be identified so that they can get credit for paying taxes on property they don't own. That said, if this guy wasn't past due on his taxes then they never needed his ID to inquire who was paying and for her to ask for his ID before checking that is very foolish... Also there are many jurisdictions that do not allow tax notes although more jurisdictions are allowing it now because they need to tax revenues in more timely manners
@@wesleyhempoli5548 I doubt they would be able to collect interest or anything for that matter as you never signed an agreement or contract with them. This has NOTHING to do with QI, and EVERYTHING with "Tough on Crime" Prosecutors who actively protect Violent Criminals under the Color of Law.
Mind you, the criminal statutes are there, and they dish out severe punishment. And also, QI goed right out the window with a criminal conviction.
What can we do about it? Take part in local elections! Sheriffs, DAs, local Judges... they're all elected positions. And it's they who decide, whether or not to arrest a criminal in uniform, whether or not to indict a criminal in uniform and whether or nor believe even the most outrageous lies of criminals in uniform over hard evidence.

Qualified immunity needs to go away for all public servants!
Go away is probably too much, but the bar does need to be lowered a lot. Having some degree of immunity is essential to doing the job as there's often times facts that aren't available at the time that the officers are working that are available for court proceedings.
The degree to which they're shielded is a massive problem. This will probably get a qualified immunity invocation that will be accepted because they haven't clearly violated his rights, even though there was no underlying crime charged to justify the arrest. Which normal people would believe would entitle a person to not be arrested in the first place.

Law enforcement is the DUMBEST MOST CORRUPT "profession" IN AMERICA!!! They need LESS training than a BARBER, yet they are issued a badge, gun and arrest powers WITH qualified immunity!! They train more on how to apply "pain compliance techniques" and how to shoot/kill and abuse/arrest citizens than they do on the LAWS!!! Would you allow a plumber or electrician who didn't know their jobs work on your house?? Then why are we continuing to allow law enforcement who doesn't know the LAW be out there taking away people's MONEY, FREEDOM and in some cases LIVES??? We must abolish qualified immunity!! The "officer safety" phrase is a FARCE!! In 2023 there were 1329 citizens killed by law enforcement officers a 6.13% INCREASE and 136 law enforcement officers killed by citizens a 39% DECREASE!! So how can they continue to use "officer safety" as an excuse for anything?? All the FTP, ACAB, DEFUND, AUDITS and any other anti-police movements that are mainstream now a days are a direct result of THEIR OWN ACTIONS!! They EARN THE HATE every single day video after video and don't care because they have qualified immunity and know NOTHING will happen to them!! Law enforcement is nothing more than a REVENUE GENERATION division of the government!!! The national success rate of law enforcement solving crime is 46% for major crimes and 17% for property crimes!!! THINK ABOUT THAT!!! If you could only do your job at these rates, do you think the company you worked for would keep you employed???? We the People DEMAND BETTER!!!

The county has already admitted that showing your ID isn't required in order to pay your property taxes. The reason for the trespass was because he didn't want to hand over his ID. The deputy wanted to cause severe bodily harm when he slammed him into the concrete floor face first while holding his hands behind his back. The skeptic in me tells me that he is the furthest thing from an innocent victim in this altercation. Most likely a prior history of abusing the staff. This is a property tax place so it's more than likely that he had a bad assessment one year and FTFO over it and now is on a watch list as a result. Hence why he refused to show his ID.
