Still simpler than the US tax filing, where the process is extremely complex and lengthy and you have to file it separately for federal and state and you have to pay to the agents separately, it could range between $60-200.
As an individual Taxpayer, should I select/deselect Schedule AMT and/or Schedule AMTC is difficult to comprehend unless I graduate myself through a course on tax laws or chartered accountancy. Why can't the department make it a bit easy for a layman honest taxpayer to file the Return without much hessels?

Unable to submit return either online or through desktop utility. In the first case something went wrong please try again and in second case- server not reachable please try later errors are coming. Please advise
Please upload ITR-2 excel utility of latest version. Have been contacting the support since 10 days but no solution is provided to it yet. It is very easy for our FM to say that taxpayers get 4 months for filing their ITR but we hardly get one full month. Please look into it at the earliest or else extend the last date for ITR filing!!!!!!
How it's four months? Only two months. Until & unless we got the 26AS we will not be able to file. Final 26AS only available in the month of June. So June & July. Thanks
I am adding capital gain details in Table F 'Information about accrual/receipt of capital gain' quarterly. Once we save and calculate taxes, the values added in 16/6 to 15/9, 16/9 to 15/12, 16/12 to 15/3, 16/3 to 31/3 are summed and shown again in Upto 15/6. Please check and correct this.

How ridiculous is the whole process. We are having to pay CA or websites like ClearTax who source data (AIS) from your website and than file tax on your website. You have all the data of ours in AIS/TIS. Why don't you pre-populate data properly so that it's easy for common people. You won't do that coz then how will people make mistakes in filling and you guys will extort them.

Unable to submit return either online or through desktop utility. In the first case something went wrong please try again and in second case- server not reachable please try later errors are coming. Please advise
Please upload ITR-2 excel utility of latest version. Have been contacting the support since 10 days but no solution is provided to it yet. It is very easy for our FM to say that taxpayers get 4 months for filing their ITR but we hardly get one full month. Please look into it at the earliest or else extend the last date for ITR filing!!!!!!
How it's four months? Only two months. Until & unless we got the 26AS we will not be able to file. Final 26AS only available in the month of June. So June & July. Thanks

I am adding capital gain details in Table F 'Information about accrual/receipt of capital gain' quarterly. Once we save and calculate taxes, the values added in 16/6 to 15/9, 16/9 to 15/12, 16/12 to 15/3, 16/3 to 31/3 are summed and shown again in Upto 15/6. Please check and correct this.

I have prepared my online return for the A.Y. 2024-25 and completed schedules up to TTI. How ridiculous is the whole process. We are having to pay CA or websites like ClearTax who source data (AIS) from your website and than file tax on your website. You have all the data of ours in AIS/TIS. Why don't you pre-populate data properly so that it's easy for common people. You won't do that coz then how will people make mistakes in filling and you guys will extort them.
