Internet was down for a few days so wasn't able to comment. Yes my very first goat was a Saanen, and later had a few that where Saanen Alpine crosses. Awesome tour of the Fair and congrats to Lydia for the first place on Showmanship
Wow, you did a great job on this video. Cant wait to see more. There's alot of work to get ready for the fair. We have a wonderful county fair. So much to see . Congrat's on winning showmanship. Sundae looked really good. Now for part two.😊
Congratulations, Lydia really did look surprised and very happy to get first with Sundae. Love all the cattle, goats and all of the other lovely critters. (that's my husbands term for any animal-he is definitely not a farmer). I like the Nubian the best of all the goats. Your fair is so much nicer than the one we have in our county. Looks about double the size and the booths are so well decorated. But maybe ours has gotten nicer since I was last there. Its been a while. I also thought the food places really stood out. There is a lot of talent there. I never knew there were so many different types of chickens. I wonder if they were developed for looks or for specific uses. Never mind me, I am always curious about things. Thanks for part 1, I look forward to the next part.
Nice calf you have for your 4H club . I was in the 4H club as well I learned a lot and met a lot of friends a long the way . Good luck showing as well !! Is that a Jan calf your showing ? You did a nice job clipping her as well !!
Well done Lydia, you need patients, kindness and knowledge to excel with animals. Lydia idisplays an abundance of what it takes. Has Lydia ever had her chickens at the fair. 👍
Funny thing.... a friend of ours from work is married to the poultry superintendent for Jefferson County, and he was talking to Lydia over the weekend about showing chickens next year!
Thanks for taking us to the fair! Yay for Lydia! Congratulations!
Great job Lydia! My daughter did well also in showing animals. It’s a great way to mature and socialize!

Lydia might need to answer the question about the chicken breeds...

@@KeithFinkFamilyFarm She's a busy young lady, but it would be nice to see Lydia's chickens represented if she's able. 🙂🐓🐄🐣
