Nifty idea! Thank you!
Nice work
Ice packs work well too. Less condensation drips than using regular ice.
How to use ice pack?
@@anarkalimamta3448 try attaching ice packs behind fan with twist ties, or some kind of hooks attacked to the rear fan screen. Ice packs don't drip as much as regular ice. When you are finished with fan, remove ice packs and refresh til next time.
I'll try this
This make fan steel rusting
@@tanwodan3689 use fans that have plastic shield covering the fan blade.
Outstanding idea! Thanks for sharing
Wow loved it♥️💯👌
Good and excellent . 100000000% working
Nice... easy and is efficient.... nice one DIY
Perfect thank you so much
I like this. I'll make one like this 😂
Very good video
Zordaar

I believe this is how the earliest air conditioners worked. Large slabs of ice placed behind large fans.
Hi mini fan very good video
I had tried it before and it works!
Is that wind is cold
@@easylearning5182 Not, unless you are so close

Nice super video

I will try it
Bhai kya yah sach mein thandi hawa deta hai please batao
nice
wow video
I well try
Water leakage problem and no cool air
Probably dangerous too. Electricity +water = Fire 🔥 hazard 🤷♀️
I put 2 large bottles of ice right in front of a fan at speed 3, checked the temperature which read as 76°F, came back later around 2.5 hours with the ice nearly melted, checked the temperature again at it read 76°F, and was a room of only of around 11ft ×11ft, a totle wast of time, totle!
It didn't work because the ice supposed to be placed BEHIND the fan.
But what are we supposed to do if we dont have a nife or soldering iron like that?
Super
I mean ok but could get messy with all them holes having to drain water etc .. a lotta effort when I’m boiling hot 🥵... anyways I might just try it anyway out of curiosity 🤷🏽♀️
It works. It is a little messy lol put a bowl under the bottles when you drain. Ice melts quickly so have plenty in the freezer on hand!
Daniel Mejia ahhh good thinking batman!!
i mean its just water its gonna evaporate in this heat anyways
For how long does it work? Who tried?
Dosent make that big of difference. And the ice will melt in like 10 min

liked it
I hacked this hack by using flimsy water bottles. I could use scissors to cut the bottom off and the plastic was so flimsy I smashed the water bottle so the sides touched and cut little triangles which opened up to little diamonds when I unsquished the bottle. I don’t have a soldering iron so I couldn’t think of any to do it. But it worked out well and was super easy!
I just heated a small screwdriver on the stove and used that as my soldering iron lol.
May i know whether the generated wind feels like aircond?
@@flamesthebeast3176 I used a lighter, but mini driver worked brilliantly. Also diy'd the diy and used unzipped zip ties for the mesh 😁
Dont waste your time. Doesent change temperature of the room and you can only feel the cold if you are close to the fan
Than you drink the water after you drain it😂
Is it coo?
I just tried this. Air conditioning is broken. We bought 2 fans, and I hooked up this apparatus to one of them and I have them blowing next to each other. The one with the bottles of ice doesn't seem to be blowing any cooler air. Maybe it just takes some time, who knows
I'm wondering if it would be more effective in front of the fan
@@evon1987 over time I've found that it actually does work. Back of the fan seems best 👌
Daniel Mejia does it really work?
@@minshalmuneer2894 It does work actually. Just keep a bowl under the bottles and keep plenty of ice on hand because the ice will melt pretty quickly. You will have to drain the water and refill with ice often. But it does work!
Daniel Mejia just want to see a picture of urs and did you put the wires in and out?
Is that a 1liter bottle?
750ml
No no its 2litre
Looked like a 20oz bottle. 2 liter would be too big
It's actually 1.25 liter
This is great but the cool is low I created this
Could
It would have to be drawing air directly through the bottles this will make no difference at all
It does pull air directly through the bottles via all those holes punched in the side.
how is there only 36 comments lol
What's that hole puncher thing?
@Dylan Vedia thanks
Ricardo Lopez it’s a screwdriver 😂😂😂😂 why would it be a soldering iron! LOL
Dremel
@@brendan8593 it's a hot iron
Soldering iron
heat wave is so bad
Shock wave alert
Tried it. Doesn't work.
I can say pretty much this isnt worth the effort with common sense applied of course that amount of ice will not provide enough coolness in a hot summer , better buy a portable air conditioner or makeshift misty fan
I think it could if it was on a desk or aimed at someone, and the bottles can be filled over and over again.
Wouldn't this work better by just placing two frozen water bottles behind the fan instead? No need to add ice or drain, just replace the bottles and put the previous ones back in the freezer? Additional plus would be less evaporation, hence less moisture in the air. Naturally, if you're in a dry place, you might want more humidity.
@@antauljn543 I dont think so , its the same as putting 2 glass full of ice in front of a fan in a hot summer, a misty fan with cold water would have some effect since its spraying cold water.
@@esaedvik its still wont work , if you want really have an effect you need an ice as big as quarter size of the room, or a opened plastic drum(barrel) with frozen water with a tube as big as the diameter of the drum leading to the back of the fan so all the cold air will be blown by the fan, if theres is a plastic barrel layered with styrofoam its much better as the ice would last longer. I know this is why I said this isnt worth the effort.
@@asahel980 Yeah I just meant it would improve it. I don't think anyone's looking for this to cool a whole room by 10 degrees, but to create a comfy breeze. Just an improved fan. At 91F, a fan is just a flamethrower.
😂😂😂 lol
8th
I did it with hot warm water cooled The room right down
I’m confused
Hazel Scarlett was a joke cos hot water would be useless
Trojan X 🤣😅
Hey guys subcribe my channel MIRCHI PATAKA ruclips.net/channel/UCBgDV_kTBXAIytb8QPCjYSQ
Shouldnt it be in front
Not working 😢
Any chance of electrocution?
ngl thats pretty dangerous, water + electricity = oh god
You kidding me?
Absolutely dumb idea... It does not work at all, please don't waste your time here
Flop... disgusting idea... Don't put such fake thing...
