I agree with you uncle Jimi . A genius has to be managed. I have a younger brother who is a genius but does things immaturely.

12:30 JD, as much as I do not like this NASS, they are right to wade into the age criteria. The Minister made a policy announcement off the cuff and there is no legislation to back it up. This is checks and balance which Nass should do to the executive in the interest of Nigerians. The 18 of your time is not the same as today JD. In fact, the 16 of yesterday was lot more matured than the 20 of today because they gave them responsibilities quickly and they were ready for war. If we follow the 6334 or other things, we would not need the age cap. The issue is systemic and we know this. ASUU destroys your life with strike and there is another 1 year NYSC, yet employers want 5 year POST NYSC experience. I don't agree with those who rush the kids but let's look at the push and pull factors JD. Kids abroad start working from 13 so they build character quickly. Eric Lanyal or whatever that Spanish lad's name is, was already playing with adults as a footballer but in the Euros, he could not work more than certain number of hours as a footballer. They could not play him past 90 mins because of their regulations. France passed a law to prevent social media teens from being exploited by their parents. There are laws to prevent them from being abused but early exposure builds them. What is the minister doing about vocational studies? The abroad most Nigerians are going to get a job after high school because their country allows them. What does our country give back? What are our structures in place? Everyone is solving their own problems themselves. The same government officials have their kids graduating at an early age ABROAD and they post the pictures to oppress is all. So JD look at the issue holistically.
By the way, 16 is an adult age in some countries so what's it about the numbers? Counting the age or counting the exposure? We need system

Jimi Disu's analysis is sometimes clouded by his past life experiences from the 60s and 70s.

The NLC should allow the Police do their job, If Ajero is found wanting the law should take its course. However the government should also persecute the known sponsors of terrorism in Nigeria. The list provided by the government of United Arab Emirates over 150 persons named, this same APC ran government of Buhari and Tinubu did nothing, while the terrorist are still running rampage in Nigeria.
