  • In this video, I have shown how to make a DIY WRGB aquarium light at home for planted tanks. This DIY aquarium light is suitable for even a high-tech planted tank. This DIY planted aquarium lighting is equipped with white, red, blue, and green LEDs, as these color temperatures significantly increase the color saturation of the objects within the tank. Under this DIY WRGB aquarium light, the plants, fish, shrimp, etc. will appear to have a much richer and more vibrant color.
    Beads used : White - 6500K, Red - 730nm, Green - 520nm-530nm, Blue - 460-470nm

    Loved the idea and approach bro, but instead of using feviquick to stick led to profile i would have recommended to use heatsink paste and nutbolts, feviquick can withstand high temps but will deteriorate over time, also feviquick itself is bad conductor of heat so heat transfer will not be at its best, provided few vent holes is profile will keep the air flowing as well, im a custom hightech led light designer, above are just my views rest the video is super osm wish u success ahead bro ❤️

    • @madebykm
      @madebykm  2 года назад

      Yes, I will make that video also. The LED profile I used is also a kind of heatsink. It absorbs heat from the LEDs and dissipates it into the surrounding air. As a result, the panel remains cool. So, there is no need for extra cooling fans here.

    Superb build sir, Need your help to calculate the Powersupply for 36x 3W LEDs. please reply

    • @madebykm
      @madebykm  Год назад +1

      You need to use three 600mA constant current 36W-50W LED drivers ( amzn.to/3TERshO ) and connect the LEDs accordingly. You have a total of 36 LEDs of 3 watts. Thus, total wattage = 108 watts. Now, divide them into three parts, i.e. 12 LEDs (36w) + 12 LEDs (36w) + 12 LEDs (36w)
      And connect each LED driver to each series of LEDs.
