Thanks for this review! I have this bag myself. The deep teal (Caribbean Blue) color is gorgeous, and I think the quality is excellent for the price. I have discovered after a few trips with it that I'm not a huge fan of clamshell bag styles in general: I prefer luggage styles that open from the top and can be packed with greater flexibility and opened with less fuss. Still, my Coolife is so pretty that I have no plans to replace it until it wears out. :)
This is such a great review. Thank you for going in depth and also including the lock/reset function with it. As far as the color, I am a huge fan of the color blue so I think it’s a super cool color! Also, thank you so much for letting us know to board sooner than later so that we can have space on the plane. I myself am planning on having my first trip on a plane later this year so that was definitely a big help. Thank you so much for the video and stay blessed.
It's held up well for me. Wheels still good and zippers still work without any tears. I probably only use it 3-4 times a year though so your mileage may vary.
Just got the 4-piece set...anyone else have trouble removing the big white tag on the outside? If it's not pulled off cleanly (like in this video), it's hard to pull off any remaining pieces. Any ideas?
Just purchased the 3 piece Lake Blue and I can't wait to begin traveling again. Thanks for this awesome review! Since I have not traveled in while, how does TSA open the case if they need to get inside. Do you provide the code at check in?
The TSA shouldn't need to open your luggage, whether you're checking your bag or carrying it on the plane. When you get to the TSA checkpoint, they will ask you to remove laptops and other large electronics from your bags before they pass through their x-ray machine, so you'll have a chance to open the case yourself first. However, if TSA does need to open your luggage for whatever reason, they should have a special key that will allow them to open the TSA approved lock on the luggage. Enjoy your trip!
20' has worked fine for me on trips up to 7 days long. I am a minimalist though and pack only what I need to survive. If you overpack or are expecting longer trips, the 24' might be a better option. Good luck!
