gosh I feel so behind... I still havent finished this page, but hopefully tomorrow night. I take too much time to chose the paper. I hope I'll be able to be more sponteneous as I progress in art journaling. I also need to prioritise my crafting time better! Texture paste and I have a love/ hate relationship because it gets dry in the jar before I can use it enough. I love the paint that flows over the texture paste.
🤗🩷 try adding a piece of cling film over the paste before closing it, so between the jar and the lid, that may help it from drying out too fast.

very nice page. not sure how i will be making mine as i dont have texture paste but i will probably just use acrylic paint with my stencils.
You can add a little bit of baby powder or cornstarch to some acrylic paint to thicken it 🤗🩷

My pages are buckling quite a bit. I don't use a heat tool to dry the work, I let it dry naturally, as I live in a really hot place. Do you have any advice for me please?
Lay the book flat under some heavy books over night, that should help flatten a bit but there will always be a bit of buckle 🩷

So this is maybe a stupid question, but for us with the kit; is this where you planned for the included scrap book papers, or are they meant for something later on?
You can use your scrap papers here from the kit or you can use any you may have. You only need a few small pieces so there will be plenty left for another time 🤗🩷
Beautiful page. Question though; putting the textures paste in the center, isn’t it preventing the journal from closing properly ? And damaging the floral design?😮
That was my thought too
Good question, but I didn’t put a thick layer and it is pliable. What I will do, I will discuss that when I do the final flip through video 🤗🩷. If you’re concerned about yours you can move the scrap papers more to one side and have the texture on a page instead of down the middle. The journal will close but it does get chunky 💙💜
