i like how "in-character" the facial expressions are and how when they get paired up together (like with papyrus and chara) it's almost as if they're "talking" to eachother
I'm glad someone noticed this, I took part of the inspiration of it from the original Bad Time Trio comic and tried to make their personalities fit, with a bit of changes, but taking in mind the original source.
Sans scaring the life out of Chara and laughing as Papyurs moves him aside, Papyrus getting nearly skewered by Chara’s knives, Chara being bummed they missed their attack but then being happy when Papyrus helps them, and even small stuff like Chara’s hands trembling when they point their knife at you and Papyrus using his goofy eyes when almost getting hit
I like how all the characters by their personalities here are giving you the feel I can describe like: "They are so similar, yet very different" Papyrus tries his best to keep his "calm persona", but always ends up looking goofy or heroic even. Chara is desperate to win, knowing, that if they will give up now nothing would stop us from destroying the world again. Sans... well, he is Sans.
ye it really matches the characters and how they should be portraied sans is meant to be potraied as on a losing causes as he knows no matter how many times he tries to break your determination with the trash talking and moves it takes a single hit to kill him the others are also agreeable so i can't really say anything else with them
You can also tell that Sans is trying his hardest here rather than holding back to try and get you to Reset, he knows the only way to stop you is to go all out.
Everything from 1:49 to 2:06 with the expressions and such is just hysterical to me, with Chara being annoyed about getting interrupted by Sans, and trying to get Papyrus to step aside with knives so they can continue their attacks.

I always imagine Chara's attacks to be really fast due to the fact Humans do not have magic powers... but to symbolize them just slashing us with a knife a bunch of knives will fly at us at high speeds in battle

We just know monsters are made of it and they use it in battle. It's very possible that humans can't access magic without specific apparatuses or that they lost magical powers entirely. On the other hand, its very possible that humans are fully capable of wielding magic, and the 8th fallen human just didn't for some reason. We just don't know enough to make a conclusion.

I love that throughout the video they respect the Sans canon! Only at the beginning of the fight do you see Sans' blue eye, never to see that eye again! I love it! Fans always use Sans' eye (the blue one) to make him look "threatening" or "powerful" but here they make him look so relaxed and mocking that I love it! (ignoring that he seems more expressive due to his seriousness in certain parts of the beginning) It's really identical to the canonical Sans, MAN they even respected the quirky smile of Sans, damn how beautiful!!! An excellent job! ✨ (F for chara)
