Very good championship. Next time you should have the competitors hidden from the current round so they each go in blind, not getting ideas from the previous one.
I agree with that statement and I also feel like that the penalties need to be more harsh with the tire and ball challenge. They knocked it off and had an advantage. I think these need to be harder although I really enjoyed the whole thing. Can’t wait to watch it next time.
I frigging loved it, the professional to just plain out fast charging straight into the breach and dam the fire, well done Mike can't wait to hear what you tell Aaron, I know what he will say, if I had been there I would have won they all however showed the fighting spirit, true hard working men now let's see the women.
I agree with many other commenters, much congratulations to Hyundai and all of the organizers and contributors to this event. I have really enjoyed this series and look forward to seeing this become a regular event. Thanks to all.
I really enjoyed this competition, I was hoping @dirtperfect could pull it off, but he got close! I think Andrew had 37 tons on that 4th dump. It definitely looked full to me. To be the first time doing this competition, Hyundai did an amazing job!
Fun to watch. Lots of room to improve in the scoring, rules and the stuff you have them do. The one with the softballs was more of a trade show trick then skills. Knocking the balls off you would be faster than doing it. Good thing to do just need different things adjusted to make it better and fair all the way around.
Congratulations Bryan, well done! Unlucky Mike, I was rooting for you all the way. Well done all involved, this has been a fun series to watch. Looking forward to the next one.
@@NationalEquipmentLeague Event 1 was a little bit hard for everyone after the 1st guy. The dirt pile was different, the reach was different. First guy had nice clean pile to use and a shorter reach. Event 2 was really just a joke with the softball and only a 5 second penalty for each ball. Takes long to do it right then the 20 second penalty for knocking the balls off. I know it was the first time for this but keeping the trade show tricks out of it would be best. Hope there was a lot of learning done with this first one and you try to make it fair in the next one. You be better of making or using DP skill game board he makes a few years bake where you have to place a object in its right cut out hole.
@@johnunsicker7440 This is actually incorrect... each competitor was allowed to position the pile and work it how they wanted to.... so any disadvantages of the pile were on the operator.
just paused after Dave went, the 2nd guy. How did his half full truck honk the horn and The Camarata guy had the truck almost ready to spill over from being so full before the horn honked? Just thought that seemed weird.
Different camera angles... truck was zeroed out after each run... Andrew's run was deceptive due to the amount of clay stuck in the bottom of his bucket on 2-3 runs....
@@NationalEquipmentLeague I noticed the clay, which accounts for severe tonnage loss with this size of a bucket. Im not doubting the results or questioning any wrong doing at all. It just seemed like Andrews truck was heaped up and almost spilling over everywhere before it honked. Then Dumpster Daves truck didnt even look close to Andrews. I am sure the camera angles are the reason like you said, it just looked so much different between the 2 trucks is all. I enjoyed these games and look forward to others with new operators too.
Well worth following along and congrats to the winner at the end of the challenges. Been subbed to DP for many years and Ryan for awhile now. Safe travels from NZ. Ken.
Will the sequel to this be in 2024 or next year? Very enjoyable and so cool to see so many guys I was able to meet in person in Louisville last fall at the equip expo.
To stop the "going first" disadvantage, you should let all the contestants have one practice run before they`re on the clock. I believe going first in the second event, is what cost DP the over all championship.
It's very cool to watch. But next time, maybe you could make it so it's more equal . The only place where it was fair was the skidsteer as it couldn't be ruined by the last guy.
I BEEN REALLY ENJOYIN THIS, I FOLLOW, MR DIG, DP AND ANDREW , ALL SOLID CHANNELS, I HAVENT SEEN MAN BEHIND THE SCENES HERE, BUT MIKES DOIN PRETTY GOOD, MAN BEHIND THE SCENE MUST GIVE DIRT PERFECT SOME GOOD ADVICE
Great competition, Graphics, Camera work, and Editing. Commentary from all "top notch." Jessica being shorter than the competitors needs to work within the abilities of the microphone, she was 2 to 3 inches from her mouth 👍 but around 9 to 12 inches from the competitors mouth. With the background noise she needs them to almost eat the mic. Scoring needs modifications and penalties need to be serious. Additional penalties take away the advantage of ignoring them. I am looking forward to your next video. The onl
If I were @TheRealMrDigg I would have the next competition at my place. Nothing like getting C&D waste separated and free labor. Maybe get the sorting line setup just in time!!
Great idea for an event to show off talent for operating equipment. I agree that nobody should watch others and see what they need to do. Keep competitors away until they complete next time, please.
I would love to see Logger Wade compete, now that would surprise a lot of people but he has been working big machine's in tight quarters his whole adult life. just for s*its and giggles throw in Lord Muck from the UK, Jim from Scotland.
@@DirtPerfect that is pretty ingenious I ran an old deere for a short amount of time no ac heat barely worked. The only wheel loader I’ve ran. Y’all done good wit the big iron. I call it the Blue Colllar Olympics.
Thought @DirtPerfect was robbed in round 2....he was the only one to take the time to attempt the obstacle properly...the others just annihilated the tennis balls and took the very lenient time penalty ..👎👎 And some of the roughest loader driving I've ever seen.....points should have been deducted for hitting the truck body as savagely as some of the competitors....they would have been 'educated' by the dump truck driver in the real world..👍👍
@@NationalEquipmentLeague I agree, "cheating" isn't the correct term here. Poorly balanced penalties would be more appropriate. Face it, this is the first time around, live and learn.

Almost Dirt perfect 👍🏻
This was a very entertaining and informative series. Either don't wait a year or make this more like a rodeo circuit and then a National Championship.
We'll be back sooner than that for sure...
Lot of fun watching these. The guys did a great job. Oh heck, the whole crew did a great job.
perhaps next time, have welding contest? would love to see Andrew and MTBS

Truck wasn't empty when dumpster dave started . No way 4 half scoops beats full scoops by andrew.
Look at the bucket
Listen to the commentary team - took them another pass to see it, but Andrew had a lot of clay stuck in the bottom of his bucket.
Andrew had a near 1/4 bucket of clay stuck in there from taking too low a bite at the pile.

Yes, it does, and it has 3 different speed settings that are adjustable in the monitor.
