Thighs are tense
Smaller knee movement
Hardly visible from a distance
◾️ KNEE SHIMMY:
Thighs are working
Bigger knee movement
Better visible from a distance

I love this, I have done belly fancy off and on for years, many styles. As I am older and my feet are less flexible (injury) I find the tahitian more in the knees a movement I can achieve. Thank you for these side by side views so I can make adjustments. My daughter shared this with me as a potential solution to my struggle to continue in dance. So happy to have found you. In tahitan our heels shouldn’t be lifted but both look very similar just Ori Tahiti’s movements are bigger
