GMTV and Diggit clips (c.March 1998)

There's a new show starting on GMTV, and presenters Mr Motivator, Cara, and Craig are on a mission to find out more. This is obviously in the lead-up to the launch of Diggit (or, later, DiGGiT or something), and then I've edited on some short clips from a little bit later on the same tape which may actually be from the very first episode. Presumably all March 1998.
There are plenty of promos and ads to get your teeth into as we go around the likes of Power Rangers and Timon and Pumbaa. They seem to be going big on Extreme Ghostbusters, and even bigger on Barbie and her little sister (apparently) Shelly. Nice to see yo-yos getting some paid screen time in the late 90s, too.
As for the presenters, no doubt you'll recognise Fearne Cotton, but who's that with her? It's Paul "Des" Ballard. And what's Paul doing these days? About 19 years, as a matter of fact. Probably better you don't look him up.
