      It is a pathetic shambles, we voted to leave. The politicians, the mainstream, especially the BBC and the narratives they push, their globalist agenda, are simply ignoring our vote and making an absolute mockery of Democracy, and laughing stock of Britain around the world. The progressive liberalism the BBC has relentlessly pushed, funded by us, under duress, the attack on morals, on traditions, on our indigenous people, history and culture is NOT making Britain a better place in my lifetime. 1984 was supposed to be fictional.

    • @Garmez120
      @Garmez120 5 лет назад +2

      Charles Wood Yep, this country is a pathetic shambles alright. Thanks mainly to those who were groomed by the media and the brexiters into voting Leave. This country, since June 23rd, has been a laughing stock thanks to a bunch pushing an agenda off the back of jingoistic false nationalism. Now they’re whipping you into a frenzy with little catchphrases such a ‘stealing Brexit’, ‘killing democracy’ and ‘betrayal’. They keep telling you that all Remainers are calling you stupid, when in fact it’s they who are treating you as stupid.
      The funny thing is it’s those groomed Leavers who think they’re the enlightened ones? 🤣😂 Further brainwashed by RUclips videos and little twitter echo chambers. 1984 ? BBC pushing a liberal narrative? What planet are you on! If they did their job, clowns like Farage wouldn’t have had more appearances than any MP on Question Time and they’d take him, Mogg and the rest to task on all the lies they’ve told. At least Marr tried to the other day, and little baby Nigel got rather upset didn’t he?

Such a vast number of reasons to vote for either but the fact of the matter is anyone who voted leave would have had no idea of the event to follow in the 2 years afterwards, leading to getting this deal.
      It hasn't been easy. The deal isn't great. We might end up following EU laws for years to come without any say until we sort ourselves out. I don't think anyone voted for that.

    1st Referendum was a false promise that was undelivered by 650 individuals that are overpayed. Representative parliament abdicated it's responsibility and asked the people to take over it's representative duty. The people exercised their RIGHT and voted, then the execution of the peoples choice was returned to the parliament and government and this has exposed the complete uselessness of the parliament.
    If the people are required to take responsibility for the failure of the parliament a 2nd time THAT IS FINE but the entire parliament must be suspended for negligence and their benefits withdrawn backdated to the date they were elected on a LEAVE manifesto.

    What has gobsmacked continentals is not so much the Brexit decision itself: a country should of course, if it wants to, be able to leave the EU.
    It’s the way politicians (and large parts of the media) have handled it: their failure to come clean to voters about the fact that the Brexit they were promised does not exist; that any Brexit at all will come at a hefty price, certainly in the short and medium term; and that Britain, in the 21st century, simply does not occupy the same place in the world as it did in the 19th, or even much of the 20th.

      When one’s economy is almost running at full capacity, growth figures look low, but when your economy is coming from a very low base, China is a good example the growth rates look astonishing.

  • @1Thedairy

    She is absolutely right! Alistair Campbell refuses to try and understand, as do the majority of Remainers, as to why people voted to Leave. It wasn’t so much about the economics it was more about identity, sovereignty, concern about the EU and the way it is progressing. It’s the bigger picture but Alistair refuses to try and engage in that conversation just the same as we he did over the Iraq war. It’s his arrogance that is his downfall.
    Many Brexiteers are prepared to compromise and accept a deal but Remainers don’t even want that and that is causing even more conflict and resentment. His gloomy forecast is proving to be overinflated as
    at the moment the economy is doing much better than predicted so how does he explain that?

    Matthew Goodwin is impressive here. Maittlis dismisses leavers’ concerns as a faith. The 2019 election proved him right. He is also polite and measured unlike Campbell.

      Look up Goodwin's interview post 2019 GE on Triggernometry. It's very insightful. He talks how he presented his findings on the shift in working class voting patterns to Milliband's team in 2015 and nobody was interested. When he presented to the Tories they were all over it.

  • @1Thedairy
    @1Thedairy 5 лет назад +1

    Matthew is absolutely right in that it isn’t all about the economics with Leavers. It is more about sovereignty, identity, community and distrust of the E.U. why has it taken so long for Remainers to understand this? The result should have made them reflect and ask themselves why this happened but no they took a very arrogant stance. You can see whose listening and whose not in this interview.
