Contrived Drills

Two things: Focus on the GOAL of the drill, which in this case is driving the gun with our eyes. Then we can change things up a bit and worry about round count. If two threats present themselves, you may have to put 4-6 rounds in one, while only putting 2-3 in the other. Or maybe both threats need 5 rounds. There’s no way to know until that situation happens. Let’s not get wrapped up in 2 rounds, transition, 2 rounds. Understand we’re training our eyes to drive the gun FIRST…. Then the round count can be adjusted.
