This takes me back to when I made my first mask. Highly recommend it no matter which way you do it, for example clay, mod roc, cardboard, casting. Incredibly fun hobby and fairly easy to pick up with enough practice. This mask looks badass btw!
May sound graphic, but I can see it in a horror movie. Having the victim of the main character watch themselves die in the reflection of the copper. Sound spooky.
“And this next exhibit is from the Bronze Age. Casted in sand, you can see the incredible techniques early humans used to make such a fine piece of art that has lasted throughout the centuries. But, time has taken its toll on the mask, splitting it into two parts that perfectly link together.”
That is the most cosmetically appealing mistake I have ever seen. Clearly they wanted a solid, one piece mask but ended up getting something better instead. That's awesome!

As soon as i saw that mask i heard faintly in the background "you call this resisting arrest we call this a difficulty tweal" and i actually got scared and turned around thinking a cloaker was boutta dropkick my jaw
I watched a lot of your videos and plenty of other channels that show casting stuff out of scrap and i really love watching it, your pieces look amazing and i have lots of respect for your work. What triggers me sometimes though is the fact, that almost every piece has this little voids, like little holes on the surface. I am really wondering why you never see this kind of voids in a factory made piece and what is it that they do differently.? Does anybody know what i mean and know the answer? Is it the type of sand they are using or is it the furnaces or any special additives to the melt they use in mass production? Anyway, very cool stuff you are making and lots of love and respect, keep up the nice work! ✌️
This reminds me of high school shop class. One of my classmates actually secretly manufactured some working handgun sound suppressors right there in class.
You do that that fast that's take you so long how can you do that it's taking so much time and I want to do that to just my friend can do that I'm feeling so comfortable and your videos you making the coolest videos ever seen and this is why I like your videos so much thank you for that videos thank you
Sand + motor oil for the casting sand iirc. There are prebuilt furnaces you can buy if you wanna spends a penny, otherwise there are ways of making them from metal barrels and very thoroughly vented propane cans.
That came out super neat! I like the way the two pieces accidentally lock together
Bruh, that looks like a 1000 year old mask from war
I doubt it was accidental
それはとても良い兄弟です
ikr it was cool

That’s actually a cool concept, a mask that can split into two parts has a lot of uses. Accidental success!

It’s quite inspiring how you continue to respect the process when another might see a failure and just start over.
Honestly, thats a really cool mask concept for a villain or bounty hunter
Star wars like cad bane or something

Some may call it imperfections, I'd say it gives it a lot more presence.
Looks spookier with a gash across it. Just use some leather straps to keep it together around the head. XD
It may have broken a lil but it honestly looks super cool. Kinda menacing.
We call him Copperhead because of this split copper mask he wears.
That actually looks cooler with the imperfection. Neat.
This takes me back to when I made my first mask. Highly recommend it no matter which way you do it, for example clay, mod roc, cardboard, casting. Incredibly fun hobby and fairly easy to pick up with enough practice. This mask looks badass btw!
It looks like an artifact the way it split, it could have a really cool backstory to it, looks great!
That deserves a horror movie. Like straight up!!

You did great despite the break. I’m not sure how that happened even though the whole mask was in a perfect position.
You just created so many fantasy stories for so many people with that.
Taking your failures and turning them into successes, big respect!
There are so many of these types of videos but yours are near the top. Excellent job on this!❤

The fact that it came out with the imperfections and is two pieces makes it 100 times cooler.
I think this is my favorite one yet. Gorgeous.
That split makes it so much more unique especially if you just want to wear a half mask

I’d like to see a brass Jason Vorhees hockey mask!
Resembles with Jason's mask
Actually this came out amazing
Bury that somewhere to make someone believe they found an ancient mask
The break actually improved it IMO, gave it character.
But, again, what kind of sand are you using for these?
The mask face before pouring the lava 😮
The mask face after polishing 😶
Jason Voorhees: 👍🏻

10/10 channel super satisfying ❤
the way it broke and still looked good was amazing
Am I only one who immediately thought of Albert’s mask from rusty lake?
You could use that as a movie prop. As in the mask of a greater warrior/leader/vigilante/etc and the legacy they left behind.
The imperferctions made it look even better, it's even surprising that it broke in such a clean way. Task failed successfully!
This was Awesome, I like the way everything came out. Can you do Another one with the Mask still intact
It’s split in a very similar point to where our jaw attaches to our skull so the break actually works to give it a really cool look
Chance gave a masterful touch
Reminds me of the grineer mask from Warframe but in a dark elite kinda take, awesome!!
The imperfection makes it a lot better that had it come out “whole”
This looks like a metal facemask from rust
You literally made a mirror mask and it's awesome
Like everyone else said, it's actually not too bad, kinda cool if ya ask me, so thanks for showing us anyways :) ❤

personally I never really used Volsung but its a nice looking dragon priest mask IRL
That mask looks a lot like the mask from the movie Freaky.
I've never seen copper being melted into a casting machine before. That's why I turned to this video.
I would where the fuck out of a mask like that, literally I cannot describe how much I love this sculpt.
Should make a Jason Voorhees mask❤
If you had risers on the side and probably in the center, the flow would be more able to fill such a thin mold cavity.
What kind of sand just HOLDS like that? It's something that's been on my mind for a few of these shorts now.
