Wow, I love this technique! It looks like your pattern is raised. I have to give this a try. Thanks for subing on for Jennifer while she is on vacation with her lovely family.
FABULOUS technique and BEAUTIFUL card Kristina!!! LOVE the blended inks and the very cool offset stencilling - WOW!!! ... CONGRATULATIONS too - I only just noticed that you have over 2 THOUSAND RUclips subscribers!!!
This is card is so pretty, thank you. You intimated that Jennifer was under the weather, I so you she gets better soon, we miss her too, but you did a fantastic job Kristina, I love your work too, thank you.
You are amazing! Great technique! In fact that's one of the things I really appreciate is all the different techniques that you demonstrate! Your voice over is wonderful - just like you're next to me, sharing something new to a friend! Thanks for sharing your creativity!
I recently discovered you and totally regret it for not knowing your channel sooner. I LOVE LOVE LOVE everything that you make. You give me a ton of inspiration. :)
Hi Kristina ~ On a chilly, rainy Central NY day, I'm working on my son's wedding invitations and binge-watching your older videos (the ones from before I "found" you!!). Love white on kraft and the way you've off-set the stencil to blend on those beautiful Distress Inks. ~HUGS~ #kindnessmatters
Hi! What a great technique!!! I want to know more about the various inks because I am new and I don't know one from the next. Your work is really great.
I think this is one of my most favorite videos I have seen!! I love the way that looks!! I want to go home and try it out!! :) thanks for sharing!! Amazing card!
An old toothbrush works really well for stencils too. Especially if they are delicate. And toothpaste works well if you accidentally let the paste dry on your stencil. I guess the abrasive ess helps remove it. I make my own paste (recipes online, mine uses baby powder) and even when dry, it comes off easily!
Although you used a stencil, it looks like an embossed paper! (Folder-embossed, not heat embossed.) That's a great effect Kristina. I also like Jennifer's card, but the dimensional effect is more intense on your card. Thanks for sharing!
Very pretty. Is there any reason one couldn't use one of the blending tools to add the white ink, too? It would seem a lot easier and would use less ink.
I love that card! I am a little nervous about using stencils, so I don't have any, but your video is giving me second thoughts about that. Something to think about. You do a wonderful job. Thank you for sharing. :-)
I love this card. I've realized in the last few weeks that I need to start getting more stencils instead of so many embossing folders. I need to try and do some crafts for sale and one of my fav things to do are wooden pic. frames and small boxes, hence the stencils would be ideal. Question though, what is so much better about using distress inks versus using your regular ink pads with a dauber. I can't afford to have a set of distress inks and then my regular ink pads. Please help me understand if there is a real need for these. Thanks so much.
incredible. Is there any way we can go into bulk production. If I get necessary knowledge cum training and purchase necessary equipment, can I go into mass production of invitation cards like wedding cards?
Jennifer will love this card and so did I! The stencil technique is fun and the vellum tag is the perfect sentiment panel!
