I felt weird wearing steel toe boots to high school in 2007 haha. Just generally loved wearing those boots! Still have them today, they don’t fit but. Relic of the past
I remember mine, gave them to a friend a LONG time ago, but I still have the very first name brand pair I bought myself. Everything before was the tan survivor boots😂then I got some lace up Justin’s😮💨roughly 4/5 years old and in dire need of refurbishing. Just can’t let em go😢
I do that in middle school today.
Weird
Ong weird
I hope this commenter knows what a steel to is for
Yep! Boot Barn! Carolina Work Boots for me!
Carolina Work Boots do look great.
I really really hate having heavy boots after discovering lightweight flexible zero drop shoes, and boots that have natural foot shape to them. The problem is they always wear out so quick in the sole
This is so true. Thanks for the feedback.
My steeltoe workboots are lighter than my jordan 1 hightops 🤣
Facts!! Never going back to regular shoes. Jim green makes good quality barefoot boots with replaceable soles. Absolutely love them
Do what?? Seriously, make a video with a caption and the video doesn’t even explain what the caption is talking about

the boot squeak from separated layers

I LOVE your cowboy boots, SOS!! I've LOVED cowboy boots since I was little! I have a broken-in brown pair with a more pointed toe and stitching on the toe. I wear mine with loose jeans, jerseys and even shorts!! I LOVE the stitching on the toe of cowboy boots. I think it makes them stand out more. I LOVE how they make me look taller. I'm 5'10" and I wear size 12. Cowboy boots need their own paid holiday!! :) :)
I feel the SAME way you do about cowboy boots! 👍😎😊👊 I want a black pair next, maybe with the metal toe taps on them!! Can't wait!!
He says this on every boot video. He is some kind of boot psychopath
I can smell the boot store in this video
It's one of my favorite smells.
Not joking I have the same boots they're just a couple months old and they have holes in the heels and squeak like the ones you walked in with pretty comfortable though with one of the insole inserts I got from boot barn
Hey brother I’ve been thinking about purchasing those wolverine boots you bought there , just thought I’d ask if they’re still holding up strong.
Hello! Thank you so much for asking. Yes these boots are still holding up. Of course I alternate them with my other pair so that way I don't stink them up too much.
I do need to buy new inner insoles for them. And I will probably have to resole them later this year or next. But they are solid purchase for me and my line of work.
I have the wolverine epx work boots I got them from boots etc because the boot barn in my area is overpriced but those are nice
I use them daily. I have no complaints.
Just bought a pair from there after watching your vid! Pretty excited! Ty for putting me on
lol I literally have these boots for work
In my line of work, it doesn't matter how expensive or how cheap the boots are. I'll be getting about 3 months out of them before they begin to rip up!
You put your boots to good use.
Have u tried cleaning and conditioning them?
nope. I use them everyday and it doesn't make sense to do so.
@@tired_brickmason34it makes sense if you want to try and extend the life of them…
@@WillDaBeast509 I wish I could because when I buy the boots they look so nice and clean but they're work boots, they're on a suicide mission. The jobsites are muddy, you have all kinds of debris and material falling on them. Sometimes i have to get on my knees to work and the front ends tear up.
Redwings don’t…
Redwings are great.
Had this exact pair of boots in 9th grade one of the best I’ve owned
All the best boots take us back to a simpler time.
Do y’all work in them?

I am a 14 year old girl who LOVES cowboy boots and all country stuff I don’t have any friends who likes country tho. I wear boots to school I get a lot off looks and comments but I don’t care cause boots are so comfortable!!
💯👍👢

I heard that smashing pumpkins playing
Says “best steel toe boots”
…goes to Boot Barn…
You dont need to get a new pair for a squeak. At least I hope not hahaha. I bought a "cheap" pair of chippewa not supper loggers but I think just loggers. And for the first three months I wore them they both!! Made a squeak with every step. But at the time I was to broke to buy anything else. So I bit the bullet and kept them. And to my surprise now almost 8 months later no squeak for either boot. That experience told me that might not be bad just annoying because I have had no problems besides that with them up to now
Thank you for your feedback!
My Redwings don't make this sound..... I have 3 pairs and my oldest ones are smoked and have barely a sole.
Red Wings are a quality product.
Boots do what ???
Why buy a pair of new boots and also get insoles for them….why buy the boots if they are not comfortable….
That's a great question! I actually bought the insoles for another pair of boots that I have. Truth be told I have like 5 pairs. I'm very particular about my boots and thus I like to change out the insole so they don't stink up so much.
What's your favorite type of work boot?
I got me a pair of wolverine iron ranchers. Love them things.
Hello! Thank you for sharing your experience. Please let us know how long they hold up after use.
@@sosgds Currently been welding in them for about 3 months and they are good as new. I’ll keep yall posted.
how much are they?
Any man that wears those glasses doesn’t need boots in the first place… looking a little zesty bud, Plus the boots you are wearing don’t even look broken in.. I guess the office job isn’t cutting it
Your second edit on this comment makes more sense. Thanks for the feedback.

I’ve been wearing the same pair of Georgia suspension system slip on boots for years I buy from a place called safety guard it’s a work shoe store and I’ll get year out of couple if I’m lucky you after they can’t be fixed anymore by a cobbler literally my cobbler shop is called John the cobbler if you’re flat footed like me thats the best boot money can buy now there $250 I think more people wide feet and less if you want non steel toe but i ain’t never been a fan of square toe boots got nothing against people who wear them they hurt my feet and I personally think they’re ugly
Thank you so much for sharing your experience and feedback! I don't think I've ever heard of those boots. I must try them. Truth be told I love boots. I probably have about five pair. And I'm really partial to the square toe boot. Of course it's not for everyone.
@@sosgds my going to town boots are my work boots and when I’m not working in the summer I’m wearing shorts and flip flops but other than that I’m in boots and pants
You’re definitely not getting the best boots at Boot Barn. Not even close.
Thanks for your feedback! Where do you like to get your boots from?
@@sosgds I have a pair JK and Nicks PNW boots.
What is it that ALL steel toes boots do??? You didn’t show in video
@@roselanelegend it was the squeak noise they made in the beginning
I'm looking for conformable work boots I sand on cement for 12 hour and sometimes more but I don't know which ones to get
Wow! 12 hours is a long work day. I would go with the oil resistant Redwings. Their sole is durable.
But didn’t they stop selling steel toe boots cos if you have an accident and they can’t get the boot off or cut through it you’re screwed? Guess that’s something just in my state I guess?..🤷♂️
Fascinating!
What state do you live in?
I wonder what OSHA has changed about their standard on steel toe boots?

Saya sangat suka melihat toko seperti itu. Di Indonesia sangat sulit menemukan toko seperti itu. Sepatu safety buatan Indonesia tidak sebaik sepatu buatan USA.
Boot Barn is a popular shop here in the US. Hopefully you can visit some day and experience it.
Yo those are like exact same boots I have
I am tired of buying new boots. I get a year on average but at this point I’ve spent 1500 on boots in 7 years. Lifetime boots are the next pair
There's nothing more sad than wearing out a brand new pair of work boots. Give a like if you agree. 😢
Agreed!
I dunno man. When they blew up the dinosaur from jurassic Park it was pretty sad.
You need western boots
I couldn't agree more!

Got the same pair. And the last pair was the same. Great boots
Man my problem is I can never find my size I wear a 14EE and I can never find it I just finally got a pair of dress boots in store I don’t like online I like to go in try them on and see them in person
Wow! Thanks for sharing your story. 14EE ... You are a legend among mortals!
Buying new boots to replace boots not even worn in yet? You look like the type
Chino hills?
The one and only.
Bro no disrespect meant but you need to go get some new sunglasses
Buddy don’t even put in hard work enough to get new boots
Crazy that at the cost of boots and then you add a foot insert too?
Also, i dont like boots that make me look like a cowboy
It's money well spent for being on your feet all day.
What other styles of work boots do you like?
Yellow sunglasses?... Yyyyyeah...😶
I was gonna say… time for some new boots and some shades to go with them. Lmao 🤣
Elton John ova here 😂😂
Wolverine & ariat so far best work boots to have
Wolverines are the worst brand tbh. Get some redwings, cat or timberland
Who the heck wears zipper boots? 😂 Those are some weird "boots"
I agree. Thanks for the feedback!
Got the same pair wolverines good boots
They all do what? I’m so confusedol
I have the same exact boots
Lawd have mercy you just grabbed wolverines. 2 months later your gonna regret that
You're so right!
As a owner of those exact boots there alright but the insouls wear out after about a year
Thank you for sharing your experience. I wonder what the average insole replacement is these days.
@sosgds Insoles should be fairly easy, a lot of companies sell extras and (to my knowledge) a majority of them are resoleable, i.e. you can just pull them out without worrying about glue. I don't even think slightly more premium brands have insoles over $50ish, and you can usually do it yourself
If you want some real work boots that will last long & be comfortable all day, buy some redwing boots
Redwing are great boots too.
I just picked these up I love them
💯
Do what?
They didn’t last me 2 months the sole is falling off about throw them away
You must be on your feet 24/7.
I like the fact the half the parking lot is full of mustangs
I like that too!
Redwings never failed me
I have friends that swear by them. Thanks for the comment.
I can’t wear steel toe boots bc if I randomly wear em down to the barn and one of my horses step on me.. no more toes🌝
Look at composite toe and it's better to have them cut off than crushed
@@ianthompson2802 debatable. I’ve broken my toes and shattered them a few times.. I think I’d rather have that happen again then have no toes at all🤷♀️
@thatcrazy_equestrian275 my buddy is a trauma nurse he has seen injuries with steel toe and without. Steel toe is clean chance to reattach and fix. no steel toe foot is crushed. I saw a coworker have a d8 dozer blade drop on his foot he had steel toes and metatarsal guards in his boot just had bruised toe and foot bones and was out of work for a week. All the guys that work on the real Big mining equipment wear them and I guarantee those parts will impart a higher pressure than a horse can.
@@ianthompson2802 as somebody who has had 1200lbs on her foot at nine.. I was completely okay and I didn’t even break anything since the pressure was distributed evenly. I don’t have pre-trained horses, I train them myself and I truly need my toes in order to work them and train them consistently. I can’t take long breaks unless it’s for the horse’s benefit. Point taken though. Most of my family were firefighters and they all had steel toe.. I bet their feet got hot though.
Red wings all day
Boots make you look even smaller when you are 5'5"
You mean shorter?
No. Smaller. As smol
I got the same pairs for 110 at academy 👌
How are they holding up for you?
What kinda jeans are Thoese ?

Wolverines are by far the absolute worst boots I’ve ever owned. They literally lasted 3 weeks
That is bad. Thank you for sharing your experience.
That’s why I get ariat square toes they last a while but if I want work boots I get redwings
@@rcadventures8390 I’ve got Ariat square toes on right now. Their work series boots. Coincidentally, my last pair finally came apart the other day after 4 years of heavy equipment field mechanic work. My foot got stuck and I accidentally ripped the sole of them off. The inside of them still look new. So I got me a brand new pair of the exact same kind. I love them.
I also own a pair of Redwings.
Wow! I hope you didn't hurt your foot.
what do they do though..?
They all wear out.
@@sosgdsno. Go get real big boy boots made with real materials.
Are wolverine boots good?
My honest opinion ... Not the ones I purchased. There are better Wolverine boots that I would invest in. I think Ariats are the best right now.
I had the same pair my problem was the back ripped out of them way to quick
The chino hills boot barn….
💯
Do what?
Bro so what exactly do all steel toe boots do he never explained 😂
I just bought a new pair after owning those exact wolverines. The sole started coming off after only a few months of work, and was flapping around soon after. Trying out some Double H's now
I think I am experiencing something similar. Thanks for sharing your feedback.
I loved mine had them for a couple years before I had the same problem
double h sucks
Try ariats or Justin boots i also recommend Thorogood insoles they fit really nicely in any boot without adding to much space
@@gttone323 the Double H's are treating me well. I plan to try Ariats whenever I can find a steel toe by them that doesn't have tons of rubber around the sole and heel.
Would you recommend the insoles you got for working long hours of standing and walking ?
That's a great question. I personally use special insoles so that way I can last longer in my daily activity. But I noticed that I go through them pretty quick. So I probably need to find a better brand.
Anyone know which boots he puts his hands on are called? At 0:26

Nice! How are they holding up?
They’re still looking good, I mainly use them for welding at my school
Next to no boot barns in south Florida and I’m mad about it
Dude you bought steel toe cowboy boots??😂😂
👢
Lots of people buy steel toe western boots. If you actually work in the trades or manufacturing you'd know. It's a requirement to wear steel or comp toes in those environments in most cases and lots of people prefer western boots like wellingtons. I've met plenty of people that have issues with circulation or other problems that prefer this style and some people just want to be able to kick them off easily or rush out the door without tying.
@@alexbeatty318 Thank you for the great comment. That's why I wear them!
