I love this interpretation so much, you have no idea.
I like the advent of “Play With Me” sounding so sinister. MC really feels like the megamix character, which is fitting as he’s a rather grounding character of the cast.
This explains why they didn't release until March. They were waiting for Imposter V4 to come out!
Well, the final mix of Titular came out way before both of those mods.
Another thing is that I think that the bf sprites of the new week of Monika pixel are from vs impostor v4

The decision to give MC a festival song was a pretty last minute decision, and when we were discussing what it could potentially be, Titular came to mind almost immediately, which is fitting, since both MC and Henry are the main protagonists or their respective series, and are both characters who are influenced by player decision.

I like that you chose this song for MC a lot! Not only is it a good song, but MC is the titular character of DDLC so it just fits! Also, while I don't know Afro0 myself, I've talked with KaneMonger a little and Yandere Gaming quite a lot, and I know from them that Afro0 has always been a big persona fan. When I saw DusterBuster's screenshot in a tweet of him telling Afro0 to say a Persona line and "Act like the main character from Persona 5", I found that hilarious. Amazing update, you all did a phenomenal job!

Not really the titular character. A titular character is one with their name in the title, ie; *The Henry Stickmin Collection.* Meanwhile, the MC has no real name outside of being called the MC, protagonist, etc, and I don't see any of those used in the title *Doki Doki Literature Club.*

I think its more because they both are characters that decisions affect the way the game ends like mc with the poems and which girl he screws over and Henry which choice screws himself or others around him over or getting a pretty neat ending for them

Not only was the addition of the "One more!" great knowing that Afrozer0 voiced the protagonist in this mod. The instrumental sounds amazing! So is there an instrumental version one could listen to? Amazing remix that I'll be listening to for a while!
@@aguyontheinternet8436 The original version of Titular is a pretty short song on its own, and was shorter than the other festival mixes, so we wanted to add an extension to it, just to have it be on par with the rest.
The "One More" was Duster's idea. He basically wanted to have it so that MC is hyping himself up, wanting to go into one more verse.
We told Zer0 to record the voiceline like Joker from Persona 5, which is fitting, because Zer0 is doing a DDLC mod called Doki Doki Vigilante, which is inspired by Persona 5.

Funny you mention Garcello, because if I didn't choose Titular as MC's festival song, my other choice was Headache, which is because it's AfroZer0's favorite FNF song.

This song is wonderful, at first I couldn't figure out what mod titular was originally from, then I heard the airship leitmotif and realized it was Henry Stickmin, and I love how Dreams of Love and Literature is used

MC Mix goes harder then the original Titular
When development was happening did you guys ever consider making a side story looking at what MC and Boyfriend are practicing during the events of GF’s side story?
When we were coming up with the Side Story songs, what would eventually become Love N' Funkin' went through a lot of ideas.
One *very* brief idea we had was to have MC singing a song with GF. I don't remember what the story details would've been for that, because it never really got past being a thought, but one thing that we pretty much all agreed on, was that it would be cool to have the poem-writing aspect of DDLC be implemented into a song somehow, and that, combined with GF not really having much involvement story-wise, is how Love N' Funkin' was eventually created.
Another idea for a Side Story was a DDLC VS. FNF song, since, because at the end of the main story, Boyfriend and Girlfriend found a way to let the Doki's enter their world, the song would have been DDLC characters VS. FNF characters.
The lineup would've been:
Sayori VS. Pico
Yuri VS. The Spooky Kidz
Natsuki VS. Tankman
And MC VS. either Daddy Dearest or BF.
Monika wouldn't have been in this song, because she would be trying to find the player.
We did have concept art for this song, and even a small demo track, but it was never implented ingame due to us needing new assets for the ideas we had, and also my laptop and hard drive failing, which made me lose a lot of progress on the song.
