Contracting a virus is generally a bad thing, but among certain parasitic wasps, passing a virus to their offspring is actually key to their survival.

On paper allowing predators to repopulate would be the ideal solution. But that requires that we live with nature, not against it. FYI- a marsh is a gift, not an obstacle to farming.

iI seems to me this could equally well be described as not about the wasp, but about the virus. I think the title could equally well be "How this virus uses a wasp to transport it between fruit fly larvae".
    Symbiosis is a two-way street.
It could even be titled "This fruit fly tweaks its immune system by allowing a wasp to infect its larvae with immunity challenges".

It boggles the mind how tiny the organisms are that they are working with. I mean a fruit fly is not exactly a giant and it's larva must be miniscule, but they are looking at baby wasps that grow in the larva so they must start out unbelievable tiny. Whomever decided to study these wasps must be psychologically attuned to very small things.

The lizard people are a red herring. Our puppetmasters are silver androids shaped like 9-ft tall wasps, with magnetic fields where their joints should be. Who else do you think was behind the Alito decision? The xenomorphs, of course! Like the pox, they needed to change the laws to ensure we are vulnerable when they invade.

20% of the video is intra-video advertizement. Please, survive. Love the content - Its the same money, floating around in advertising beyond our immediate influence. We actually would have more control in direction and development of content if we subsidized media more. Still cost the same. You pay for advertisement funded media through purchase mark up. Part of what you pay to buy stuff directly funds advertizement. Your money, coming from you. You cant choose not to buy things. Advertising money; built into the purchase price outside of your influence. It's a tax. Lots of money circulating around in advertisement. And almost the exclusive source of funding for multiple platforms of media. There is no competetion to this funding. Most people cannot fund much, if any content through direct subscription due to economic realities of income to cost of living ratio. Please, nothing against SciShow, Brilliant, or the very real need to fund onself with advertisment to provide content within our current economic system.
