Now I'm feeling a trip North from Naples, FL to come play with the 470lb dirt bike up there is in order. That be the kind of yard I'm currently building for MX fun!
On those mod motors, Ford has them tuned so that when they over heat they alternate cylinder deactivation to cool the engine and limp it home. I remember reading that in the owner's manual on my '99 F250 and thinking it was pretty cool. I bet that's what it was doing at the end there. Those 2 valve 4.6's never made a ton of power but man are they hard to kill.
So ford made that engine architecture as bullet proof as possible. I had an F150 that literally had molasses in the engine. we had to get the engine smoking hot to drain about 4qts. After a set of plugs and 2 more oil changes to flush the sludge, I daily drove that truck 150miles each day for 3 years. I had to change 1 coil and that was it. Sold the truck for what i paid for it with 335K miles... Cant kill those motors.....
If it's alright throw a radiator in it and some mini mud tires on the back and finish it off. Make a great video. I'm sure cleeter has radiator laying around.

Even all my debit cards and Drivers License burned up...making it impossible to access what little almost nil funds I have. We rented and did not have renters insurance. We've lost everything. Sadly enough we alone in this situation and any charitable networks are tapped due to the pandemic. Man... I wish I could field beat a car right now just to relieve some stress. ✌take care brother awesome upload!

Is there a short answer for why the Hardcore diesel guys/mechanics like the 6.0 so much?? The 6.0 was my first direct injection diesel. I loved it. The sound, the powerband, everything was perfect. Although, mine was deleted, it was never studded. I never had any issues with that truck, and sadly ended up wrecking it. Everyone and their brother has begged me not to buy another one, but then I see my neighbor who farms, and his whole fleet is 6.0s. Whats the short answer? Are the later 6Ls better?
They are fine till you turn the fuel up and drive them like a race car, as long as they have the egr deleted and a mild tune they do fine for a long time. Buddy pulled a 44’ wedge with cars for 390k miles before his head gasket started leaking, had it studded then traded it in for a 6.4 at 510k only to have the 6.4 bust a piston at 108k and no warranty and 100% stock. New engine is built for some power now
