You are truly “adopted” by this family and I hope you won’t forget about them when you guys move on. We really mean it as Filipinos when we consider someone a part of the family. ❤❤❤. Also, your tagalog is coming along really well! I view other vloggers in the Philippines and although they use a local rice every once in awhile, you guys really try to incorporate it. Extra props for calling everyone either kuya or ate. Very touching to see the “Mano po” 😊

Apart from our country's beautiful natural physical resources, the hospitable, welcoming and kind people we are Filipinos are great assets. To Josh and Connor, thank you very much, indeed, for your enthusiasm in immersing in our culture. In the process, you help promote our local tourism. Awesome video! My wife is from Rosales (Pangasinan Province-about 2 hours North of where you are), and getting away from the bigger cities in the Philippines is truly an amazing experience. You are a true ambassador for your country. I learned the first time I visited the province how amazing and kind the people are. Immersing yourself, showing humility, and being respectful goes a long way. I truly love the experience away from the cities. Not sure how much traveling you are going to do but if you like the mountains Baguio is a pretty cool place to go. it would be about 3 1/2 hours north of you. Myself, my wife, and her family went there this year when I visited in March.

"Tol" is derived from the term "Utol," which is an urban or colloquial street slang in Tagalog. "Gabi" translates to Taro in English, and pronouncing "Gabi'" with emphasis denotes the evening. The way you danced the Cha Cha dance with the locals made you resemble a mobile caricature, so funny! But to say the least, you really had a blast. Just keep on traveling around my country, there's so much more to see.

Actually, that mound on the horizon is Mount Arayat, a dormant volcano, located in the adjoining province of Pampanga (to the north of the province of Bulacan). It is NOT Mayon Volcano (as your host told you). Mayon Volcano is located in the province of Albay in the Bicol Region which is way way waaay south of Bulacan and Metro Manila. FYI.
