@@anafrancisco2002 nope, almost ALL fashion brands sponsor or advertise through celebrities, events and such. It's only old money luxury brands like Loro Piana, Yves Salomon, Brioni, Charvet, Cornelliani, Hermes, everything on Saville Rowe etc, that don't need to (basically brands the average person has never heard of that mostly the 1% can spurge on. Hermes, Philippe Patek, Brioni are some exceptions that only started doing adverts/online stuff and collabs in recent years thanks to a shift in online marketing). New money or cult brands like Supreme, Chrome Hearts also don't need to sponsor anyone. They do collabs but they won't pay you to wear their stuff, neither will they lend it out. You want to wear it, you buy it. Lol.

They don’t spend that money. The designer, in this case Alexander McQueen, either “lends them” the outfits or gives them to the BP’s company for them to model them. They become models of such brand. They can even get paid for wearing the outfits because it’s product advertisement and placement.
