Fantastic interview, just wanted to say a big thank you for making this happen. The Perry's are my ultimate hobby heroes. I loved everything they designed specially middle earth stuff. Its what got me into tabletop miniatures. Its really nice to see that these sculptors and the other wonderful people you've had for interviews. Getting the recognition they deserve and and stuff to be documented😊
Fantastic interview. I've seen a few of the Perrys talking about LotR now and this is the best yet. They seem really at ease and open. Absolute legends the pair of them.
I got to meet the Perrys last summer. They're so charming and welcoming! Their game room is really legendary. You should try to get Alessio for these interviews too, if you can. He's an outstanding storyteller!
I was really big into LOTRBSG before I was even into warhammer, so this is great to watch. I remember seeing them in their costumes in WD, though i didnt know who they were at the time. Truly legendary fellows, those lotr sculpts are something else. Excellent interview, as always!
Thank you for this interview, absolutely lovely, I could listen to their stories all day. Amazing how humble they are and that they are still geeking out about their experiences.
Thank you for a brilliant interview. Although I was always looking forward to it, part of me was worried it was just going to be rehashing the same old stories we've heard many times before about them having to work in a locked room et cetera et cetera but actually this interview was full of loads of brilliant new information that I certainly had never heard before and it was great to see all of the swag they had obtained as reference.
Another great interview with more legends! It’s such a treat to hear insights from artists Ive heard about in my youth. Thanks for the great content. I wanted to ask what’s the best way to reach you? I had a couple questions I was hoping to ask! Thanks for your time.
Amazing interview! Only nitpick: would it be possible in the future to add subtitles to the video ? Its hard to hear what you are saying sometimes and my english is not good enough to catch everything the Perrys or John Blanche are saying 😅
These guys are great! But despite them speaking good english - I understand like less than half of what they are saying haha. English accents are a trip

They tend to "blurt" out in quick blasts. Gives me a hard time, too - but worth it.
Wild this video only has 8k views, this is absolute premium hobby content. Thanks for the video
Feel free to share! 😉
8k is criminally low. How is not every GW player watching these?

That 17 minute pre-ramble is so good! Living legends!
Thats so cool that the citadel boys got a shot all together in such an emotional part of the film!

The perries gotta make more medieval stuffs for their range, common. How am I to remake the DoW without the perry bros?
Another great interview! Fascinating to hear all the behind the scenes stories, and loved the photos of Alan & Michael dressed up as Rohirrim on set.

please ask these guys when they are going to write book or make a video series on sculpting
Ah, man. Nostalgia ultra. 13 year old me was enraptured seeing the miniatures for the first time.

Dave Gallagher! I met him once at my local Games Workshop about 25 years ago. He was a lovely bloke. You should try and arrange an interview with him.
He declined sadly, just said it isn’t his thing which is fair enough!
Thnak you very much !
Never realised they showed the missing arm before
Great, thank you!
Very interesting!
Part 2 when?
