    Great editing! In the part after Ammery has been dropped of at the airport, I like how the scenery changes with the music sections. And when driving though one of the tunnels the beat of the music is in sync with the passing of each street light. Not too shabby! 👍

    Love that all the igloos are heated by heat pumps. In the UK everyone is afraid they won’t work when it’s less than 10C outside!! Of course the UK has a different sort of air where heat pumps don’t work ;-)

    • @theagentsmith
      @theagentsmith 3 года назад

      I believe cheap air heat pumps would get frozen below 5°C and need to reverse cycle periodically to warm up the serpentines and thaw the ice buildup. While premium heat pumps have electrical heaters in the serpentines so don't have to do the cycles

    • @cbcdesign001
      @cbcdesign001 3 года назад

      @@theagentsmith Even higher than that actually. At a couple of degrees above zero when its raining, quite a common weather pattern in the UK in winter, the inlets on air source heat pumps freeze up every 20-30 minutes.

      All heat pumps sold in Norway reverse cycle and defrost periodically. My 10 year old LG does it about eveey 2. Hour in minus 15°C...heater wires run sround the compressor to keep it warm and in the bottom pan so defrosted water can escape the drainhole.

    • @radbaron

      My heat pump is EER rated to -15C (1:1 ratio of energy in to energy out) , and will do a defrost cycle every 2-3 hours normally. Will be more frequent if the air is humid. East coast of Canada for the location.

    Washing a car at -16 would be very brave. For the glass probably very risky, no? Also remember a relative of mine wayyyy back in the 90s decided to check tire pressure at -15 at a gas station and lost all presure . Obviously also a thing to avoid it seems. And the gas station technician laughed his ass off :)
