That was pretty funny way of showing the constant strife in Sima Yi's clan. Watching this always reminded me of how Sima Zhao betrayed his own bro, usurp control over the entire Wei, ordered the execution of Deng Ai for helping him defeat Shu and Wu Kingdom then get poisoned till death by his own son because... well his son Sima Yan has no notable achievement after he declare himself Emperor so basically Sima Yan poisoned his dad because he can't wait 10 years... to... let see what he did, spend/milk the coffer of the imperial court dry within 5 years, go disturb the peasants by raising the tax to 10 times higher than normal so he can continue to enjoy life, murder, assassinate and frame his relatives so that he can sentence them till death because they are all trying to usurp his throne... then 'acquire' so many concubines- (not including the number of women he raped and kept as mistress) to record breaking 10,000 within 10 years. In fact (Its more of a rumour and ongoing joke actually)Sima Zhao was suspected to be poisoned by his son because he said no to him once because his son wants to marry a very loyal subordinate's daughter after he raped that guy's wife and daughter.
