Soul Blade Super (Mega Drive) - Longplay

'This is a decent recreation of the original game except that it plays a little badly also no Voldo. The controls are the same as any other Mega Drive game Punch/Slash, Kick and Block. Also playing as Cervantes because irony and he has the best theme in the Soul Calibur francise plus I like playing as him official and unofficial.'
'Onto the games mechanics there is a shield mechanic where if the shield bar under the life bar. If the shield bar goes to zero you can still block but you get damaged it's kinda like chip damage but it's the same as attacking normally. There is also a way to dodge which is Block and Punch at the same time which I found by accident while playing which made Cervantes a little shadeless for some reason. I also figured Cervantes's moveset altho in complete as I have no idea how to do the motion blur swing move.'
Bootleg Cervantes Moveset:
DP, Punch: He swings his swords hoping to hit the opponent which you will see in the video.
Reverse DP Punch: He does a sword dive move which I used the move a lot in the video. It also the same animation for jump punching.
Quarter Circle Forward Half Circle Backward Punch: Makes him do both previous moves into one command imput.
Quarter Circle Forward Half Circle Backward Kick: He does a stand kick and coruch kick for one command imput.
'It's insane how I discovered the moves as no one took a deep dive into most of these MD Fighting Game Bootlegs. Also sorry for cheesing but Li Long was a pain to deal with in this bootleg.'
