The doping you did to the carbon is of vital importance and it turned out beautiful. How many milliamps did you discharge it at?

Is that nitrogen doped carbon the same stuff that Robert Murray Smith makes with urea in his kiln? (Or is it the same idea?)
I assume the semiconductor properties help prevent self discharge, like as if the internal resistance had a virtual diode in series prevent self discharge.
Yes Robert make graphitic carbon nitride. Here, first out from urea it forms carbon nitride which then at higher temperature decomposes and acts as a doped nitrogen source.
As in previous version, also this one is not sealed. what is the risk of Cl2 escaping during charging/ standby in charged state?
Yes correct If the room is not well ventilated and if you are makeing much biger cell then dont play with not sealed cell. Hard to say,... but after several cycles I am still alive.
Most of Cl− "need" to insert in the N-Ac interlayers. Also it was no chlorine to smell during the charge,... like is this noted by other halogen batteries like bromine or other type of chlorine battery.

No need for gelling. For the separator you can use what you want. Here I use some bambu fiber kitchen towel
et pour le choline chloride, comment calcules-tu les moles? j'ai du chcl à 98% : puis-je aussi avoir un rapport 42.7g / 10cl?

You said the carbon felt has 1800 square meters per gram, but the Nitrogen Doped carbon was only 1400 sq/ meters / gm. Doesn't seem like an upgrade.
