After 9 years, to hear the music of the movies that were with me since I was a little child- it makes me an emotional mess and I cry every time I hear the distinct tunes of Forbidden Friendship, Test Drive, Romantic Flight, Stoick Saves Hiccup, Stoick's Ship-- The entire soundtrack of the franchise that gave me life, friends, stories and fueled my imagination to the extent it's at now. Do it. I had never played the piano before, but I could read sheet music. We had just got a piano. It took me six months to learn the easy version, but I do not regret it in the slightest. It was frustrating, and there were times that I was stuck on a single line for months. But I am so proud that I did it. I've since been able to pick up some of the other pieces, like the easy version of Test Drive and Romantic Flight. I've started adding parts of the hard version of Forbidden Friendship as well. I've learned a lot of pieces and have transcribed several songs by ear since and continue to play the piano. And it's all because I had the stubborn desire to learn this one.
