Let me remind everyone that the great devouerer can only be killed by attacking it on the Tiny little weak spot. And Garmadon to kill the snake had to use the four golden wepons of spnjitsu powers. We have seen that nothing else (apart from the sound of the sacred flute) can harm it

How could the Devourer be controlled in the past?
Cuz the serpentine said they used it to scare to humans to try and get them underground and it was sealed away along with the tribes after the war was lost.
Could it not be controlled anymore after being released cuz it was too hungry from being sealed for years?
@@AngraMango That part confused me to but tbf they also said that they went into the tombs them self but in season 4 they show that the elemental masters locked them up so I dont think they actually controlled the great devourer

The thing with wohira's ranged elemental attack is that the great devouerer is immune to elements (mentioned by Jay while he complains about the devouerer being too big for their golden ELEMENTAL weapons). Also, the ultra dragon shot multiple elemental attacks at the great devouerer, but it didn't seem to do much. This makes me think that the great devouerer is more powerfull than Wohira, in both size and resistance.
But if she fires that Lazar beam at the weak spot
It depends on how much the devourer has eaten before the battle

Kind of unrelated, but i wish LEGO would release some kind of non-canon series on their channel where two big monsters from Ninjago’s past fight each other, i feel as though that’d be soo entertaining to watch!

Now looking back at it the Great Devourer's ability to almost instantly become bigger after a meal is kinda funny 😂 imagine if it gets so big to the point that Wojira's attacks and advantages don't even matter anymore

So in a physical fight the devourer wins however that wouldn't happen because wojira is too smart and will likely avoid getting close to the great devourer and use ranged element attacks like storm and water to finish of the big snake, plus the devourer has a weak spot. The only possibility for the devourer to win is to potentially break the amulets on wojiras head.
When it comes to intelligence there's also a chance Kalmaar might be in control making it even more deadlier

Are you sure because the great devourer is also smart because he made the ninjas think that he left the chase but then he comes from nowhere and destroy half the bounty and he can go without nobody noticing he's gone and can attack Wojira from behind like with the mail man

Well Wojira couldn't end the Devourer since Garmadon confirmed that only the 4 Golden Weapons together could end the Devourer and he was the only one who could handle the power of all 4 Golden Weapons together which is the only reason why the Devourer is dead.
As a start, the Devourer is significantly larger than Wojira, not just in terms of "oh it ate enough and now its longer", I'm talking just sheer bulk and likely weight, not to mention the fact that the Devourer will likely be constantly consuming physical matter during the fight. The Devourer has a proportionally larger head, with absolutely huge fangs that could easily do some serious damage. Sure, Wojira has the edge when it comes to ranged weaponry, but the Devourer is said to be immune to all elemental attacks unless it is hit on one tiny, very specific part of it's body. In a physical fight, the Devour absolutely wipes the floor with Wojira, as the Devourer can most definitely fight in the water. Ranged combat really doesn't do much for Wojira, so the Devourer ultimately wins in the end.
Plot twist: They team up to destroy both of the islands of Ninjago.

Both of these beings got "beaten by The First Spinjitzu Master, The Devourer had to be taken down by all four weapons of Spinjitzu at the same time while being hit in a very specific spot, Wujira got beaten by The First Spinjitzu Master himself and Nyad.
However, in terms of pure Durability, I would give this one to the Devourer. He got frozen, zapped, and blasted by that one four-headed dragon (Sorry, forgot the name.) and it was still doing fine, if you are gonna say the Sacred Flute did damage, I am going to say, That thing is made to counter snakes, the Devourer is a snake.
Power, I'm not sure but It's gonna be Wojira since it basically has two elements, is a god and ruled over Ninjago. But it would be a close call because the Devourer is fast and heavy and Mass x Acceleraton = Force. Also It's sheer muscle and more makes the Devourer an worthy oponent in this category.
Intelligence would be won by the Devourer, and before you are going to say: "Oh, but Wojira is more intelligent because bla bla ba." Let me remind you: Wojira got commanded by Kalmaar, and once his control wasn't there anymore, it turned into a mindless beast. The Devourer is similair in that case, but it still did some big brain moves like letting the Ninja think they lost him, only for them to be assaulted from below, the Devourer wins, but it would be close.
Speed, won by Wojira, it basically summons an ocean in Ninjago so It's agiity would be superior.
Abilities, won by the Devourer, Wojira has way more abilities than the Devourer, but in usefullness the Devourer wins.
Ending results are: The Great Devourer wins!
Although Wojira would put up a fight, the Durability and Strength of the Devourer would eventually overwhelm it.

Wojiras got powers and stuff but like you said the devourer can get bigger and it's fast and can go under ground and hide from wojira and strike at any moment
if the devourer went underground then it would probably drown

that makes no sense yes he did make it but it doesnt even have 1/1000 of the overlords power wojira can keep shotting the spot with lighting and hitting the devourer with tidal waves which she can do since she manged to casually flood ninjago in a day while the devourer was killed in a day wojira takes it
@@monerb7185 the Devourer required the power of all 4 Golden Weapons which were used by the FSM to create Ninjago, and only works, if the area hit is a way too small weak spot on her head to actually hit, without her moving somewhere else.

If we made a alternate timelinr where the devourer doesn't die in the end of season 1, I think that by the time wojira is released in season 15, the devourer would've gotten much bigger. The only factors in wojiras favor are it's ranged attacks, and intelligence a little but

If the Great Devourer can get close enough to attack then Wojira will probably get overwhelmed by the Devourer’s physical strength. Otherwise Wojira takes this with mid difficultly.
Although we don’t know, besides it’s weak point on its head, can the Great Devourer be defeated or even killed by normal means. But I don’t think it’ll take long for Wojira to figure out it’s weak point tbh.
I’m obviously looking at a situation where they’re the same size. I think the chance of the Great Devourer are better if he had the size advantage
1. Devourer was female, and 2. In S1 nothing seemed to damage her and only the 4 Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu combined could kill her. So basically Great Devourer can't be killed by Wojira.

Woejira is an anomaly in Ninjago power scaling, since she is apparantly the one thing The first Spinjitsu master could not defeat alone, and yet one Ninja's true potentual was enough to destroy her. I don't really know what to do with that.
However, the Devourer is also unique because of its infinate potentual for growth, even by the end of its battle, it had become at least four times the size of Woejira and could continue infinately, we also don't know of anything other than the golden weapons to her weakspot can destroy her.
Reguarding the drowning thing, the devourer burrows and spent centuried underground, so I think it can be assumed that it doesn't need oxygen, it's burrowwing also needs to be considerred, sinfe Woejira probaby couldn't touch it as long as itwas underground, and it wouldn't be able to touch her if she flew.
I honestly think the Devourer would flee of it found itself in danger, like it did against the ultra sonic raider, and then it would go somewhere else and get bigger, at which point Woejira would have to avoid it.

In a realistic battle the devourer wins not only is it immune to the elements but it’s a snake and snakes can swim so if this battle happens in a flooded ninjago city the devourer simply eats the destroyed buildings growing big enough until it can swallow wojira
If Wojira flooded Ninjago the Great Devourer could consume all of the water an become relly huge so I think the Devourer would win.
I like the german name of the great devouerer. Translated it would be „The Great Snake Master“

Devourer is Huge and She was responsible for Making Garmadon evil (because the overlord corrupted her) when she was just a Small Snake

There is one problem with this, the great devour has only one weakness, a tiny little green spot on his forehead that doesn’t seem to grow

I think I’m part snake in my imagination. My venom has different modes for different feelings when I’m over the moon, my venom when I bite, something gets bigger than the Great devour a couple of the ninja and that’s how we will defeat the Snakes
I think this fight has an obvious winner. Wojira. That is because wojira has really strong powers when the great devourer does not. Wojira has the power of storm which is like lightning and darkness combined. Wojira also has the power of water which is really strong since she can make giant tidal waves. It also mentioned that the first spinjitsu master couldn’t defeat wojira. This fight has an obvious winner- wojira.
But the Devourer continues to grow in size as long as she consumes and could only be killed by the 4 Golden Weapons together or the Mega Weapon hits her 1 tiny little weak spot which Jay even said it is nearly impossible to hit with this line, "Has one, teny tiny, weak spot, that is impossible to get to, because that thing is too ridiculously huge!".

You should also note this was a yonger, less experienced and weaker master. And storm is wind and lightning combined, not darkness, and the only way the great Devourer was able to be killed is by the four golden weapons (which made the entire world's land, so planetary level) on its weak spot. And the great Devourer not only smart as well, can grow as it wants as long as it keeps eating, meaning if it gets hairy, she can just retreat temporarily, eat a lot, and come back 8 times wojira's size. You're right the winner is obvious, it's the great Devourer.

Honestly the great devourer wins easily since elemental attacks have no effect on him and the fact that wojira floods ninjago doesn't help her much, since the devourer can drink all the water and thus get bigger perhaps even big enough to eat wojira like she was nothing but a worm
I feel like the Great Devourer won because he is smart ( he waited until Garmadon came out and then bite him ) also he can't be destroyed without the four golden weapons unlike Wojira who we can break one of the amulet

Wojira can’t be defeated unless, a water element merges with the sea and destroys one of the amulets, nothing else can’t physically kill wojira.
Wojira is maybe the strongest Ninjago creature, can easily defeat the Preemident, Griefbringer, Firstbourne, all the other dragons, and probably the Oni Titan. Wojira is OP!

Edit, just realized I misread what you said, so I apologize on that part. Now I completely agree with grief bringer, and partially agree with the dragons, I believed firstborne is stronger, or at best equal. The preemident no because that was an actual realm. Would Wojira beat it, yes. But that doesn't make it more powerful, it was an elemental advantage. The oni titan hell no. That thing would choke hold Wojira. Made of stone so it's range attacks wouldn't effect it, nor could it be drown. And it's bigger and obviously stronger.

My biggest concern about this fight is when the great devourer eats and gets bigger does it’s weak spot get bigger too cause if so then wojira just needs to get an easy zap on it’s head and that should do it for a huge great devourer and a smaller one like we see when it eats wu and pythor would be easy for wojira as well
The weak spot doesn't change size. It stayed absolutely tiny from when the ninja first discovered it to her death.

The first spinjitzu master was young during that time and the great devourer is invincible its only weak spot is tiny mark near its head and all four golden weapons equal to the power of the first spinjitzu master
