I think this video and product deserves a lot more attention and praise than it's getting. I genuinely think that, other than Hauptwerk, it's the most authentic sounding and feeling organ library out there. I've spent years looking for one but was never happy with anything until this came along. Congrats! :)

Is it possible to create your own registrations, picking from the Stop List?

I want to know this also

@@goodgravy9562 Unfortunately, it's not possible. This plugin is recorded as registrations and isn't recorded stop by stop. The latter recording process would have been too power-intensive and hard drive heavy for most computing systems. However, it seems that the recorded registrations are extensive and that each set of pipes is recorded at least once. So if you're not a pro organ player and just want to have fun with this absolute beast of an instrument, I think that for only 129 pounds, it's a pretty good deal! :)

@@guilhem8052 thanks for that info, it’s certainly very tempting I’ll give it some more thoughts

If I understand this demo correctly, I can only play two sounds at a time. At the organ, I would have available a sound for the pedals and a sound per manual. It looks like the only way to do that would be to open two instances of Kontact, which I'm not sure would be possible except in a DAW. That would be a real limitation.
That's where I think this is not how an organist would approach this project, but how a non-organist would make compromises to suit his/her abilities on a keyboard. This is not for organists, but those who want an organ sound. That's very disappointing.

Hi Phil, you're correct that this library is primarily designed for musicians and composers using a single MIDI keyboard. However if you do have a digital console, you can stack multiple instances in Kontakt and set the MIDI inputs to your manuals and pedals. Alternatively, you can load a single instance and route the Left Hand and Right Hand patches independently using External MIDI Mode - I demonstrate this at 10:50 in the video. Hope that's helpful!

Having played the real organ at RAH several times over the years, I am wondering what the real point of this sample set is? As it can’t be used in an authentic manner - ie organ, who exactly is it aimed at? I just don’t get it.

It's target is Composers... You think every composer who wants an Organ in their composition has the opportunity to go there and record?

Why does the pitch go down after releasing the chord? The acoustic in the RAH doesn’t do that to the organ.

It's designed for composers who want a brilliant, authentic organ sound. Other than Hauptwerk, this is the only organ library I've ever used that actually sounds and feels like the real deal. It's amazing, actually, considering all the other, more expensive libraries out there that sound and feel a bit shite.
