- A BBC documentary produced in 2002 and directed by Nicky Patterson. The narrator Anne Chancellor is related to Jane Austen herself and played the part of Caroline Bingley in BBC' s "Pride and Prejudice" (1995).
This video was up until recently in user's "inmypooropinion" channel which was closed. The only reason I upload it is because it was a favorite with some people. But, as I recognize the effort and time to prepare a video, I felt that I should give my due to "inmypooropinion" and in case he/she creates a different channel and wants to use his/her videos again, he/she can notify me with a private message to withdraw it.
How do I get a copy of this? I would love to add it to my Jane Austen collection.

marriage is still a business venture.
Well. Depends. Nowhere near as much as back then but it still happens of course. As I'm sure love matches existed back then, only fewer of them🤷♀️
I do not understand the meaning of Anna Chancellor here. Is she saying that to see money and having it as very important in marriage is a wrong way to think of what marriage is? If so, why? Surely, the mother and her children would benefit more by each penny. Is Anna Chancellor arguing that ladies should marry for looks and the heart and not at all for material family security? How would this be better?
I disagree that marriage is all about money, not then and not now. Only gold diggers abide by that falsehood.
