Thank you for this video! I wish you would’ve gone deeper into why you switched from Squarespace to Wordpress and some pros and cons of both. Would love a longer video on this topic since it’s so hard to find this comparison from a blogging perspective.
I am just now starting my blog, and I am using squarespace. I just want to see if it’s worth it in the long run or if I should switch to WordPress. I’m not really tech savvy, but I eventually want to monetize my blog, and I wanted to see if it’s possible for me to monetize on Squarespace the same way I can do on WordPress or if there’s limitations. Thank you so much for your reply!
@@bloominghearts still possible! You can run ads or do affiliate stuff on Squarespace, no problem. The only (minor) benefit for monetizing on Wordpress would just be some affiliate plugins or ad plugins that would help insert code and stuff. But, nothing major! :)
Haven’t heard of it! I looked it up and it seems good. My clients only blog as part of their business and need a full website, which Ghost says themselves you’re better off on WP if you need a full website, so I probably wouldn’t recommend Ghost for business owners :)

I am planning to start blogging and yes please make a longer video why WordPress is better for bloggers.
The video felt like it just suddenly ended because I felt like it should’ve been longer, so yes, I would love more information
Thank you Jess! This was so good to know 😊
Informative video thank you😮
What do you think of WordPress vs Ghost?
