Hello, I am a welder by trade and I have one of these welders for on site welding. I have to say that it has suprised me with it's excellent performance and efficiency. I've had it for around 4 years and still working. I've only had to replace the cable's and clamps 👍🏼

How thick of steel can it weld?

@@PapaLeroy-eo1ij I've welded up to 8mm sheet steel with it, but had to weld both sides of the seam of course using 3mm rods at just over 100amps 👍🏼

I'm very happy with this machine. Though I don't have much experience I'm already pleased that it actually works. It has a cooling fan which gives some peace of mind.
My first weld with this machine was welding to 3x3 cm tubes together. I can stand on it and it doesn't break. It even comes with a welding visor. I'm very happy.

This look like it would be ideal for small jobs in the workshop or home. Like the odd broken fence or making a bracket for hanging plants. With the power turned down it could even be used for minor car body repairs.
