    In the sixteenth episode of the "Build the BEST DIY 3D Printer" series, we are going to start programming the Marlin, that is the firmware or OS that will power our 3D Printer..
    In the next episode we are going to finish the Arduino programming with the Marlin step by step, so be sure to check it out!
    Down below you will find the links to download the necessary STL files, as well as the links to buy the necessary components.

    In this series we are going to build a complete 3D Printer from scratch, inspired in the prusa i3 MK2S original by Josef Prusa, but using alternative / more affordable components, what will result in a total price below the 200€ mark.
    If you follow our steps in each of the episodes, at the end of the series you will end up owning one of the BEST DIY Custom 3D Printers in the market, and the best part is that you designed and built it from scratch.

    Excellent details in this video. I have been watching homemade 3D videos for a while but never seen anyone giving these details. Appreciate the effort. Thank you.

    hello brother i am a civil engineer, i build our own 3d printer at home i check it by pronterface if i click -x axis it moves to the + x axis the stepper motors wires are perfectly all right what should i do for the calibration

  • @VintageCR

    So here is one i cannot figure out.
    On my Y-axis (the moving print bed) i have 1 endstop. if i manually move the bed with my hands away from the endstop (so its NOT pressed) i can then move the bed fine with pronterface.
    once i hit the end stop after moving the Y-axis in the + direction, i can't move the bed in the -Y direction because it releases the endstop (first pressed - then release) and tells me in the Pronterface interface: "Endstop Hit" and the -Y direction is stuck. i can only move it in the +Y direction but then it will hit the endstop but doesn't stop..
    -im a beginner at coding and using arduino and a 3d printer, but i'd like to learn more about it-

    • @architects3dp
      @architects3dp  2 года назад +1

      Probably you have a wrong connection of cables with the endstop.. pay attention to the cables/pins used and try again so maybe it’ll work with no problems

      @@architects3dp Thank you!
      i toook a look at the motherboard and the wiring, to my surprise one of the endstops was wired backwards, once i changed that it fixed my problem 😊

      hi Hamza, it's been 3 years since the video was uploaded. I modified the printer since then, installing silent stepper motor drivers and so on. Don't have the original file any more.
