After awhile the video got a bit boring. It was just the same two numbers over and over. I think if you had test two 2600 against each other you would have got similar results.
Or used a 2080TI in all gaming tests as it seems the 1080 was limiting the ability to see differences in some games. I wonder if simply dropping game detail to LOW would be another way to show FPS differences when using a lesser video card, in case a 2080TI is not available for these tests. But I know that would be representative of how people would use their hardware but at least it could show CPU differences when the GPU is the bottleneck... i think.

What motherboard was used in this testing? I don't see it listed in the info.
What about OC capabilities? Does it OC as high as the 2600 or maybe even better?
Exact same chip, ones just clicked lower from the factory. The 1600AF is unlocked and at the same clock speeds will deliver the same performance.
Did you overclock the 1600 at all?
No. Its stock clocked.
@@BenchmarkPCTech Thank you
But you could. It's exactly the same chip as 2600.
Does it need latest bios or old bios on A320 or b350 will support it?
I was wondering as well. Seems a safe bet that it won't need a BIOS update, but doesn't hurt to know for sure.
If your motherboard supports 2nd generation Ryzen CPU's, you're go to go!
