Our church still sing these old time songs. In the bible it tells us to sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs to the Lord. These so called Christians today have gotten worldly.

You don't hear much hard core churchin' like this nowadays from many gospel artists. Everybody seems to just wanna "jam for Jesus" all the time. There's a time and place for all things.
Orbot They're not even "jamming" for Jesus--the songs are WAY TOO S-L-O-W, because they are imitating that "lazy lounge lizard" sound...old-school gospel is the TRUE jam, because the LYRICS are about GOD and one's experience with Him!

Keith Pringle is a SINGING BEAST! Always been one of my favorites in in good ol' COGIC, sanctified, holiness music.
He has also been an absolute favorite in the great ol Apostolic sanctified, Holy Ghost filled ministry, oh how Jesus children get together

Keith Pringle gave us so many great songs. That was the sound track for Sunday morning worship.
The pianist is off the chain! Those octave chords are very difficult to play accurately. Reminds me of my mommas playing R.I.P. Love and miss the sound of a REAL piano and not a digital piano.
Hervin Balfour coming out of the right kind of speaker, digital piano can sound just like an acoustic, you take any Kurtzweil digital (preferably late 80s early 90s) and hook it up to a 350 watt rated Hartke cabinet with either a David eden or Genz-benz head and I GUARANTEE YOU it will sound JUST like a 9 foot grand!!!!
@@theepworthepiscopalspike8698 I disagree. I've studied classical music since six and I've played everything from a Hamburg Steinway to a Bosedorfer Imperial. There is NO comparison.
I currenty have a Kawaii MP11SE which is the absolute best keyboard made to date running Vienna Imperial. And while it's the closest sounding and playing to a real piano there is still a sound quaity that is noticeable to someone with a trained ear.
I can listen to any gospel recording and tell what type of piano was used. Digitals dont record the same. There is an artificial computer quality to their sound.
If the quality were truly the same as you believe then classical pianist, concert halls and music conservatories would use them globally. But they don't. Why? It goes back to sound quality.
But the Kawai MP11SE is pretty close to the point it's barely noticeable to the ear. The action feels 100% the same as a real piano. But it still incapable of producing all the shades and colors a real piano can create.
The quality of digital pianos has definitely gotten better over the years.
Hervin Balfour that real piano has that reverberated clang up in the higher octaves that can’t be replicated. Just the actual strings vibrating inside that wood adds immeasurable tone. What I’m tryna say is that I agree
especially that Barnum and Bailey Circus lick at 1:57 was straight up fire!

Every time I reach a higher level, the Devil trys to stop me in my tracks. I get confused and feel alone, and completley Lost. And OMG! This song dropped down from the heavens into my life. Oh this song takes me back to growing up in grandma's house (as a child) and listening to those vinyl records on the old record player. This is so classic! These back-in-the-day anointed songs will never die. They are so powerful! Bless you for posting these.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr.Pringle as a member of Cathedral of Faith COGIC in Atlanta Ga during the 8Os. My Godfather Dr.Maurice Culpepper of The Showers of Blessings Choir and Mr.Pringle would hold Workshops there. We learned alot from this Man of God. 30yrs later it brings me much Joy to have been around Great Music. Thank for the Upload! I still consider Keith Pringle a long lost Distant Uncle!!

I always thought this was Dr. Hayes recording. Then I see this was done 3 years before Dr. Hayes and Cosmo. Both versions are really good.
Jermaine Haywood But this is the definitive version. I agree both are excellent. But this one edges Cosmos version slightly. Still love Dianne Williams though!

I agree. I am a firm believer that he does not get enough credit for the growth of Gospel Music. Just like James Cleveland was to the senior choir he was to the Youth and Young Adult Choir. I like to say He gave a song that extra kick! lol
