Today's video features my experience with the recent Scrapbook and Cards Today Crop and Create Cardmaking October Event. I learned some new techniques and I learned some things about the event that I wanted to share with you in case you are considering signing up for a future session. I also shared all of the cards that I made following along with the stellar instructors. Such beautiful products to work with and we made the loveliest projects. Ohhhh I so enjoy watching your channel but you have to do you, I just had that realization in my own life. We can only do so much, don't beat yourself up, I'm sure everyone will still be here whenever you visit RUclips!! Take time to rest!! I also did the event and was super interested to hear your thoughts about it. I was lucky enough to do most of the classes with a friend and I think you did great! I don’t have as many completed cards as you do, but I have lots of bits and pieces ready so that I can finish my cards. There was a lot and as much as I enjoyed the event, I also missed one class because I was just completely exhausted by the end. But I will go back and finish, just on my own timeline!
I will encourage you to take the Brutus Monroe class (and actually that particular class had a technical glitch and was re-recorded). The stamp set puzzled me at first but the class gave me so many ideas for using it, and there is a stencil also included inside the packaging with the stamps! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and cards!

Alumni registration is open and I'm really fighting the urge to sign up because I know it will be hard to have the time to enjoy it in the spring. But I have serious FOMO (fear of missing out) and it might get the best of me. Are you signing up for the spring event?
@@MostlyPaperCrafts I did sign up for the spring event. I was so impressed with the instructors and some of my very favorite companies are involved so it seemed like a good idea 😀

Fancy a teacher not doing their homework- the irony brought a smile 😊 to my face despite your disappoint. What a shame you couldn’t take part as much as you’d hoped to but from a positive angle they are “saved” for you to do sometime in the future - so they are not lost.
I don’t know if these on-line events are available in Australia - I think they are a great idea- but I would have difficulty doing one class after another. My brain would definitely fatigue.
I thought you made some beautiful 😻 cards - “quality not quantity “ springs to my mind and again, you can always create the others later. They were all wonderful but the butterflies on the red background - I love the colour red and butterflies - just adored that one.

Hi Rebecca! I did decide to skip the March event; too much on my plate and I don't want to get stressed over something that is supposed to be fun. I'll just enjoy the time that I do have and focus on "quality not quantity" like you said. I hope you are well and that you get to spend some time crafting yourself:)
Great cards, Hannah! I don't why, but I thought you were in the midwest, not the West Coast. That's where I am. You had a lot of extra work that week, so don't feel bad about missing some of the classes. It actually broke my heart that you missed out. It is what it is. You still have the supplies and the tapes, so maybe you can get together with your friend and make some cards. What you did is great! Remember, you have a lot going on right now, so just try to relax and maybe you can make the spring event. Take care, sweet lady, and best wishes!💝

Why sign up for these classes if you know from the beginning you won’t have time to do it! So sad because it’s a fun event! Maybe down the road you can try it again.
Oh yes! I’ve been doing the event even year and enjoying them to the fullest. Can’t wait for the one next month:)
