yeah! That's the real Sinulog... The Church full of people more than the street parade. It's Devotion not just dance, performance, contest and shout! :)
The mardi gra is actually just 4th most important activity of Sinulog. With the Novena masses as 1st, Solemn Procession as 2nd and Fluvial Procession as 3rd. Even without the street parade and mardi gra, Sinulog would still be SINULOG! Pit Senyor!:)

This is a Sinulog base dance, meaning, no crazy movements or jaw dropping exhibitions... This is purely patterned from what sinulog meant in Cebuano, Sulog or water current.... If you want to see what Sinulog is really about!! Come to Cebu and witness how we do it like what the other 3.5 million spectators last year!!! :)
