I have never heard heard metal so smooth and soulful. Who would ever thought that a metal song would be soulful, but this one is. Well progressive metal but you know what I mean. This actually has dynamic contrasts of different rhythms and sound has me wanting to listen even more, also puts more meaning into it. In my opinion a lot of metal songs just keep hitting the same fast beats that just rattles my head, even though the song from this band Mills of the Gods is heavier it still does not lack contrast. I find this to be an underrated band.
This song is really pretty good, even great. The feeling it feels in the refrain and the solo is really successful. Musically, too. In the first months of 2019, I also added it to the one of list of my radio show episode. Thanks a lot. Underrated :(
I won’t move like one of you a floating blade of grass upon the ocean blue where an easy corpse is made under the ocean waves in a fleeting glimpse of time, the path inertia guides Liberate your mind Can you blame your fate on the world around? now that you’ve resigned, at the edge of time as we live within a lie slave to our design, we leave our will behind So is it better to hold conflict before you? or hold it deep within and hope the soul will win We’ve had such different pasts to hope that it would last when ever changing is the world, where does inertia guide you? Liberate your mind Can you blame your fate on the world around? now that you’ve resigned, at the edge of time as we live within a lie slave to our design, we leave our will behind Is this where we want to go? a hell of all our own, sinking like a stone as we liberate our minds, reaching deep inside, feel the world alive
I don't know what was wrong with 2005-2010 (or -2015) but I'm so glad prog metal is alive again. This band is amazing and visual stuff of this video is a hard on for a Northern Finn like myself.
Can’t believe only one picture I got with Van since Nevermore broke up the other three were still around in other projects but this project finally returned Williams to touring
I can't wait for a new album.
This song is simply amazing!

Love the progressive sound with a touch of 70-80's metal
Wow!!!
My good/ feeling/ song! So gooood❤
undervalued band.
Van Williams brought me here.
One of the best drummers out there. I rate him up there with Mike Portnoy
I won’t move
like one of you
a floating blade of grass
upon the ocean blue
where an easy corpse is made
under the ocean waves
in a fleeting glimpse of time,
the path inertia guides
Liberate your mind
Can you blame your fate on the world around?
now that you’ve resigned, at the edge of time
as we live within a lie
slave to our design, we leave our will behind
So is it better to
hold conflict before you?
or hold it deep within
and hope the soul will win
We’ve had such different pasts
to hope that it would last
when ever changing is the world,
where does inertia guide you?
Liberate your mind
Can you blame your fate on the world around?
now that you’ve resigned, at the edge of time
as we live within a lie
slave to our design, we leave our will behind
Is this where we want to go?
a hell of all our own, sinking like a stone
as we liberate our minds,
reaching deep inside,
feel the world alive
Awesome! Added to the Ever Metal RUclips and December Spotify Playlists \m/

Epic
Hell yeah! \m/
Hevy Devy?
in the chorus? totally! Early Dev though -- almost like what he did with Steve Vai...
The singer sounds like Edu Falaschi! Great song!
love the song, but the video needs a budget lol
