- Just a little moment from Mob Psycho 100 season 2 that always makes me tear up a bit. Haven’t seen this posted on RUclips anywhere for some reason, so I did it myself.
I’ve gotten this comment enough times to address it, it DOES make sense for Shigeo to accept the apology. The first step to redemption is forgiveness.

I love how her apology is so fake to start with, just going through the motions, but then so quickly the facade and fake persona she felt she needed to have fell and we saw her true genuine apology, i love coming back to watch this scene sometimes

This is the scene that reminds me that I am human, and anyone can change
agreed, that’s actually exactly the reason this episode is my favorite in the whole series
The interesting of this part is she was a bully while the evil spirit is used to be selfless esper and yet he turned evil. People change. Bad guy can be good guy if they realise their mistake and make a right path while good guy can be bad guy if they make wrong choice. Nothing in this world is certain. That's why we human need to be careful and never looking down on peoples who make a bad choice even when we are good guy because we might change to be like them under certain circumstances and choice. Meanwhile bad people can change to be a good person under certain circumstances and choice.

I feel one of the most powerful things about this scene is what mob says at the end.. “So I’m glad we were able to meet”
Despite months of abuse at her hands in a mental hell, and to find that it was truly her doing it all that time. He is still glad to have had the opportunity to cross paths and even have that experience, because mob sees the beauty in it that now there is another person who can realize their faults, Work on themselves, and become the best person they can be. Totally selfless
Completely agree, which is why he’s one of the best protagonists in all of anime, perhaps even fiction.

Also the fact that he risked his life to exorcise all of those spirits and Mogami, just to save her... He is incredibly selfless
Nah it took fear to make them understand. The only thing to change peoples minds is power. Not emotional bullshit. If they’re an asshole, unless you’re stronger, or scare them, they will you with you as they wish.

for me this is the best scene of the episode, most people just watch mob for the fights, but this is what makes mob psycho a trully special series
I like that It actually wasn't Mogami's influence that made her a bad person and that she really was that bad to begin with. The world in which Mob spent 6 months was one of many possibilities had he been a little less lucky,

I genuinely do wonder if that was the case to be honest because in the fight she turns into a evil spirit with everyone else yet mob exorcises it like it nothing, kinda leads me to believe mogami essentially copy and pasted her personality and memories into a evil spirit which is why mob didn’t kill her by doing that.
Only problem in the manga mogami did seemly possess her in order to stab mob basically. Put maybe it’s different in the anime.

This sort of loose lines artstyle only happend in this episode for some reason, the other ones just had straight lines in the foght scenes
I guess animators had a crush on her lol.
Jokes asides it prob drains a lot of budget but they wanted to highlight the emotions of the scene

All the budget put into the animation of this scene was well spent.

If I was in his position, I would've sent her to morgue. She was already given many chances to stop what she was doing before. I believe in second chances but I don't believe in third chances (or more).

I watched this show so many time but I still don’t get the importance of this scene someone explain
She was the one who bullied mob while he was trapped in the fake world Mogami made (the ghost guy who used to be a psychic), this seemed to last several months in mental time and she did some horrible things. The fact that Mob is able to forgive her is very impactful.

They say that the illusions are a realistic version of the real world, and when she is saved when mob asked her if she is really like that, she said yes. Even though she bullied him in the fake world, she is actually a bully. Thats why she cried at the end too

She doesn't deserve in any way to be forgiven, if Reigen actually knew what she did, he would have just punched her and went on with his life. Make "Reigen Psycho 100" instead of this shit
