In respect to supercharging only That is true, although if boost pressures were identical, would it really be that sluggish? The SC removes the 0-2750 rpm lag then would appear the same to the block upto max rpm. If it were turbo only then you would have a boost defecit upto 2750 or thereabout
Loving the boost gauge holder :) It's an interesting beast. How well is it idling as I looked at the twin charging route, but the current c30 turbo and the m45 would create an interesting level of boost.
That's a volvo con rod from a straight six, got 5 more spares haha! It idles nice and smoothly, hoping to get it back on the road for the summer and make some more videos. Twin charged C30 would be awesome :)
What boost level did you set the twin charge diesel at in the end. As yours is the same capacity engine as mine, I'm looking to calculate what pulley size I need to set the engine up with.
I wasn't really thinking of twin charging like you had done, although it has been mentioned. My primary route was to ditch the turbo in favour of the supercharger. But finding any info on supercharged diesels is sparse unless you look at the big Detroit muscle diesels What volvo straight 6 was it. And what diesel block is in the kit car?
Yeah if my kit car was supercharger only it wouldn't be that quick at all. Volvo block was a B6304 and in the kit car now is an XUD9TE from a Peugeot 806 (with a tata loadbeta cylinder head)
