Yup, these still sound sweet! Dynastar are never at our demo events so I might have to take a trip out to Kicking Horse just to try them, what a hardship that would be :P
Thoughts on these vs the m-free 99? I have a pair of Prodigy 3's that have lost their flex and I'm looking for something stiffer, but still decently maneuverable. I mainly ski off piste, and want a ski with a higher speed limit in crud, variable snow, and chopped up pow. Im torn between the m-free 99 and the m-pro 100. I'm leaning towards the m-pro but I'm a little worried that it might not be very nimble in trees and chutes.
If you're mainly off-piste, the 99 makes good sense and it's pretty darn stable and sturdy in the crud, chop, and softer groomers. Sure, the 100 will operate better in a purely carved turn on firm corduroy, but it sounds like you are more adventurous than that.
@@Bobebebi I think the M-Free is a bit stiffer and more stable overall. Not a huge difference but I think the M-Free feels like a more substantial ski.
If you're more aggressive and prefer higher speeds, I'd go 186. For easier turning and slightly shorter turns, the 178 still has a high performance ceiling due to the sturdy build.
@@SkiEssentials thanks! I am a pretty aggressive skier but I also want a little bit more mobility on technical slopes so I think I’m leaning towards the 178s.

Good luck! Sounds tough.

@SkiEssentials thanks, do you think i would notice much of a difference in stiffness between the m free and my prodigy's?

Im 6ft weighing in just about 175 pounds would you suggest going with the 178’s or 186’s?
