You've said exactly what I've been saying in comment sections of videos & live streams of local jets YT channels for over a year and a half, this video was great. If Jets bring him back there is nothing but positives to this. I guarantee he will have a renaissance, probably will boost up Ehlers, will get more season ticket sales (with tons being new clients which is key for them), and another person who actually wants to be there. I'm sure 37 would be happy about it too.
Like some other commenters have said, if he does come back I may actually shead a tear.

i would love to see him back but i just cant imagine how lines would look like, you cant play him with connor so they would probably have to take ehlers from that first line to play him with laine and maybe perfetti? i dont know, probably would have to make another trade
Jets management are lame if they don’t bring him back. Helps power play, makes top 6 dangerous, fans love him and will sell tickets every single night plus merch. Slam dunk no brainer move.

I really don't understand the sentiment that he was bullied out of here, it's crap. There is a lot of emotion running wild among fans, clouding judgement. Laine is damaged goods. Shoulder injury, personal issues, historically lazy training, not particularly good without the puck, huge contract. Columbus should pay the Jets to take Laine off their hands.
